Maybe I’m stupid but for a split second I actually thought this was going to be something more like an MMO. Anyways, I’m sure I get a bit of a kick out of this one. I enjoyed dungeons quite a bit and Minecraft spin-offs tend to be good multiplayer/single player fun.
Whew… finally. I’ve really been waiting for this, I wanted an excuse to boot up arceus again. My only experience with HOME has been through Pokémon Go, and I’m somewhat excited to use it for its primary purpose, to transfer Pokémon from game to game.
This feels like a bit of a dirty trick. Of course, joycon drift sucks, and Nintendo is being a little pathetic about it. However, you have options. You can just get a pro controller, fix the minor things by yourself, send the joycons in, etc. These two woman made a lawsuit, were told “no,” and now they’re forcing their kids to do it for them.
Everyone's saying that GX is better, and it definitely could be (I haven't played any F-Zeros, excited to try this.) However, I don't think that GX being better makes X bad. Either way, I'll make sure to enjoy this game, it sounds like a better Mario Kart.
Please, PLEASE have some original arguments in this lawsuit. It feels like the same crap has been recycled over and over, and companies find SOME way around it. Loot boxes suck, so I hope this gains at least a little bit of traction to put loot boxes under threat.
I've given up hype for titles without firm release dates. When they come, they come. I can't do anything about it. That being said, 1000 days feels like a long time for even a title reveal for BotW2, and 1728 days of Metroid Prime 4 hurts when you think about it.
The Gamestop promo is nice for people who have one near them, but I guess it isn't necessary to get it. Growlithe is super easy to get anyways, and feather balls just seem to accumulate in my bag without ever really a need for them. However, as long as more codes come out without me having to go to stores, then I'm happy.
I was highly skeptical when I started, but things have been looking up. I tried out the missions and rewards, and I think this is a great feature, if Nintendo kept investing in this thing, it could really end up being great. But please, please add icons from games that are a tad smaller. I would love an astral chain pfp, or even a hollow knight one even if it’s not likely.
This seems like a really cool idea. However, as much as I hope Nintendo will make this a good feature, this is probably going to fall flat. This could be so cool, but Nintendo probably doesn't want to take any kind of risk.
@BTB20 Makes sense. I just thought it was strange that people were saying that the PS5 was “failing” when it had higher overall sales than the Xbox products that are also here. That being said the OLED model seems to be outselling them all combined haha
I finally caved and bought a little while ago and I’m currently really enjoying it. This might have been the first time I’ve really seen how good Pokémon can be, since none of the mainline games really stuck with me.
@Max_the_German What? The PS5 is beating both the X and S, at least the disc version is. Then, you can’t see an Xbox one model on the list at all. Not sure how that makes Xbox reign supreme, but to each their own.
These… are total overreactions. Yes, some games are 3ds exclusives and could definitely be lost to time, but the 3ds has been alive for a pretty long time. I was surprised Nintendo didn’t do it earlier, the switch has had much more success and the Wii U side was probably 90% power waste. However, everyone knew that this day would come, so I don’t know why everyone is suddenly complaining after they had over a decade to play the games they wanted to. They won’t take away the games you own, most of the games are available elsewhere or have newer installments on other platforms, and Nintendo isn’t going to go to your house and burn your 3ds. Just sit down, buy that last game you were on the fence about, and just let it happen.
The leg strap looks awfully like the one from Ring Fit Adventure... do you think it's compatible both ways? It should be since it's just the joy-con moving. Regardless, extremely excited and hoping there will be more updates (at least boxing, please).
Seeing the “little buddy” in the initial trailer reveal actually scared me. I thought they were going to get rid of salmon run; it’s my favorite game mode in splat 2. At least I can Rest In Peace now that I know they’re making it even better.
I played the demo and thought the game was great. However, when it was first announced, I saw “project triangle strategy” I thought it was just a developing name and thought it would change. When it didn’t, I was really confused. The game is honestly quite fun, and I’m excited to see the final version. However, this whole name thing distracts from the gameplay. As cool as I think the game is, it’s going to be weird having an icon on my Home Screen just saying triangle strategy.
I mean, most of the CoD games aren't even on the Switch. (as if it could run them anyways.) The other IPs like Crash and Spyro potentially have a good future on Switch though; I don't see Xbox locking down the Switch since Playstation is its biggest competitor.
I keep feeling like Nintendo is tapping into my childhood to draw more money out of me. I lost lots of my love for Kirby and Pokémon as I grew up and moved on, and all of a sudden both franchises are being reinvented into my favorite styles of games. How are you reading my mind, Nintendo?!
Sure, the graphics aren’t up to par in comparison to other consoles and PC, but that’s just what Nintendo does. Instead of realistic graphics, they lean toward more cartoon-ish styles for most of their 1st party games, and it’s nice to have that style of graphics available. Also, considering the switch’s limited hardware, I’d say we’re fairly lucky to get at least somewhat good good graphics for such a (hopefully) large game. However, it does leave some things to be desired, that’s for sure. Nintendo doesn’t have to make a switch pro just yet, they just need something new-ish to handle the newer, bigger games they’re making.
