@Alienfanatic plus there’s the issue of the fact that it wasn’t meant to be released in the state it was and led to the creator of the game boy leaving Nintendo.
Sony doesn’t have to sell ps6 portables on the same level as the switch for it to be profitable(look at the portable pcs that are nearing/in there second generation that would NOT have happened if they were flops) if Sony doesn’t have to create original software for the device and it’s not sold at a loss/doesn’t hurt there public perception because of how horrible it is then it’s a success
Eh if we’re buying what Nintendo said about the gap between the switch and switch 2(a 10x without making this a page long post) then I don’t believe they would used the t239 in any model of the switch 1. Honestly I think when people got word of the 239 they assumed it would be crazy for it to be in a switch 2 because without knowing details of backwards compatibility etc it would have been crazy to a release a sequel to the switch back then.
@Daimando To be fair they didn’t want to release it on last gen consoles and it ran ok from the get go on pc/ps5 and now it has so many options for how to run it on a pc
Honestly this has me excited as I game primarily on my legion go and switch. I just hope it fixes battery life concerns(I have to carry an anker battery whenever I go somewhere with my Lego).
Honestly it’s probably a good thing, October looks to be the busiest month of the year and releasing close to metaphor the d4 expansion dragon age and Ys x would probably get it lost in the shuffle.
