Re: US VC Releases - 11th February - Harvest Moon

ChocoDK

Yay finally Harvest Moon THANK YOU NINTENDO AND NATSUME! And wow I can't believe that the SNES cart of Harvest Moon really goes for around $100 O_O. I only have 700 points though so looks like I will need more points so maybe I'll try out that other game. I am so happy I have been waiting for Harvest Moon for so long. Now please release Harvest Moon 64.

Re: Butterfly Garden Coming to WiiWare

ChocoDK

The game looks kind of interesting and does seem better for the Wii. But September 2009 I was kind of shocked at the release date since its kind of far off. But I know it will be September 2009 before I know it.

Re: Hardware Focus - Sega Master System

ChocoDK

I knew about the Master System back in about 2001 or 2002 when I was interested in the History of video games. I never took much interest in the console though but it will be nice to have it on the VC. Also very nice article and it was very informative. I really enjoyed reading it and learned new thinks so thanks for posting this.

Re: Columns III: Revenge of Columns

ChocoDK

Wow both games that came this week make up a total of 3 stars thats sad. And what weird box art for the game. But a puzzle game could've been fun if it was good but not worth the money.

Re: US VC Releases - 4th February - Operation Wolf

ChocoDK

What is Lords of Thunder anyways? But I am happy for the people who are looking forward to it atleast they get something they want. I am still waiting for the SNES version of Harvest Moon to be released. But atleast it wasn't one game like I expected.

Re: Are Virtual Console games good value for money?

ChocoDK

Well I recently got an NES so I will get the carts that way. I won't be buying a SNES or N64 for a long while and have no interest in owning the other systems. The VC is really a great thing and I hope this gets people to stop complaining about the VC prices. Another thing you got to consider when buying games on Ebay is the shipping costs.

Re: US VC Releases - 28th January - 1080 Snowboarding

ChocoDK

Well I am still waiting on Super Mario RPG and Harvest Moon. I never played this game before as I never owned an N64, and kind of dissapointed with this release. But I guess I should be patient, and wait another 3~4yrs. Also Reggie said when the Wii first was released there would be I think 2~5 releases a week or something.

Re: Pokemon Snap

ChocoDK

I never got to play this game on the N64 but its a lot of fun. I like also Nintendo allowed you to give photos to friends. I would give the game 4/5.

Re: 1080 Snowboarding

ChocoDK

I don't think I will pick up this game then since I would be playing it alone. And I still love Wave Race but it would've been fun to play a Snowboarding game. Thanks for the great review.

Re: US VC Releases - 7th January - StarTropics

ChocoDK

Well I am not interested in any of these games, although I want to try out StarTropics. But I am happy for everybody else because they finally got the games they wanted. Especially to all the King of Fighters '94 fans.

Re: US VC Releases - 31st December - Light Crusader

ChocoDK

Kyle I love your quote its funny. Although I can't say all the games released this year were mediocre. There was some good ones out there, but probably for the most part there were. I would love though if they released some of the better titles though i.e. Super Mario RPG!

Re: Hardware Focus - Nintendo 64

ChocoDK

"the N64 now stands towering in the memories of gamers due to the one thing that truly matters when all is said and done: its games."

Beatiful and a true statement.

I never owned or played an N64 much except at my Dentist (had Mario Kart 64), and a couple of times at my cousins playing Golden Eye. But the N64 did have some great games.

Re: Hardware Focus - Super Nintendo

ChocoDK

I like the North American SNES better then the PAL and Japenese version. Maybe though its because I owned it as a kid, and it is what I am used to.

The SNES I got for my 6th birthday, and was the first counsel I ever owned. Such fond memories of SMW, and DKC.

Very nice article too.
