I for one am happy that Nintendo stick to their own stance and refuse to give into peer pressures from other companies/shareholders.
I'm still proud to be a Nintendo guy, as I have been for the past two decades, and still feel today that I get the best out of my gaming hobby with this company. 3DS was the best investment I made in recent memory.
Not that I'm denying chavs and the like buy it, and of course it sells by the load on the brand name alone, but hasn't the quality of the FIFA series greatly improved over the past few years? I seem to recall this latest title getting very positive reviews.
Happy to see Lego City carrying on the sales momentum, and much good that Luigi's Mansion hasn't creeped out of the top ten yet.
Fantastic news, when I get some spare cash, I'll be picking up my copy. Hope the popularity of this title will mean that Fire Emblem will have forever success on these shores.
A Layton vs Ace Attorney trailer has also been released, showcasing the gameplay. Visual style is very similar to the one used in this new Ace Attorney entry.
I seem to recall there being a Dragon Quest IX advert, with two girls at the helm. All they seemed to highlight were the outfits you could dress your character in, barely any mention of the RPG itself...
Ah, shame. Despite being developed by Level-5, the 'Professor Layton' series always struck me as a Nintendo franchise and I was hoping it would forever remain an exclusive. Ah well, at least it'll reach out to new audiences, saying that, it already has been successful worldwide, establishing a dedicated fan base.
I remember as soon as we got an N64 for Christmas in 1997, Issue 10 of N64 magazine was an accompanient that same month. So sad, been following the magazines since I was a child.
I was there today, believe it or not. They have an archway near the front of the store and 3DS/3DS XL's to play on. Entered that competition too. Insta-hooked on the game, but I gave myself a two-level restriction until I get my own copy.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2 Scares Its Way Back Into the UK Top 10
The major competition Animal Crossing faces is Last of Us.
It will certainly obtain a top 5 ranking, would be interesting to see if it can outsell the multi-format series such as Fifa.
Either way, it'll certainly continue the juggernaut that the 3DS is currently ruling on.
Re: Nintendo Download: 13th June (Europe)
Anyone have previous experience with getting their free Extra Games copy on the day of the title's release?
I'm wishfully hoping Nintendo will send my Animal Crossing code the exact moment it's released, hah.
Re: Review: Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS)
I love how Animal Crossing went from a Japan only obscure game to one of Nintendo's most successful franchises.
Really hoping this title will capsize the 3DS into more success. Much looking forward to grabbing my free copy.
Re: Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity Is Super Effective in UK Charts

Re: Review: California Super Sports (DSiWare)
Have you guys ever given a 0, out of interest?
Re: Senior EA Employee Caught Out Criticising Wii U On Twitter
Not to get fanboy-ish, but last I checked, the Wii outsold both the PS3 and XBOX360 in the last console war, both casual and hardcore gamers.
Why do game developers get this perception that Nintendo must go multi-format?
Re: CNN Money: Nintendo Is "Tone Deaf" To Industry Trends And Has "Lost Touch With Reality"
Oh sod off CNN.

Please. Make this happen.
Re: Nintendo Confirms Dr Kawashima’s Devilish Brain Training Delay
That's all fair enough.
But it's becoming a worrying habit and trend that publishers are making delays at the last minute.
Re: Luigi's Mansion 2 Still Scaring the UK Top 10
So happy, especially as this is selling well with Luigi's name. Well deserved for a truly fantastic title.
Re: Nintendo Download: 11th April 2013 (Europe)
No excuses not to get Gunman Clive at that price.
I'll be picking up Mutant Mudds now that it's got a temporary reduction.

Re: Nintendo Download: 23rd August 2012 (North America)
Happy to see that the VC has (sort of) picked up a bit of steam again.
Re: Iwata: Nintendo Won't Deceive With DLC
This will be fine, as the Coin-Rush levels are simply an add-on and not a necessity to the main game, purely an extra option if you choose.
Re: New Super Mario Bros. 2 Takes Over GAME Store In London
