@Hwatt We have a problem with games because many smaller titles don't have Polish language support at all, and when they do, the vast majority have only cinema subtitles and English audio. Some major games have Polish audio, but now it's rare, but it used to be more common. Nowadays, I only notice Polish audio in Sony games. Many publishers don't even offer Polish subtitles, like Nintendo, Square Enix, and Capcom.
@Fanat1c Yeah, it make sense. Lektor is popular only on TV and streaming, only movies for kids and some bad blockbuster like Marvel movies have normal dubbing. In movie theater we never have lektor, always subtitles or dubbing. For me this is so weird when american actor speak in Polish, German etc., so I always choose subtitles.
@Hwatt Yeah, in Poland, on TV and streaming, all foreign films have what's called a "lektor." We know it's weird and no one else does it, but we really hate regular dubbing. We want to hear real actors speaking, but we also have it translated. For us this is totally normal and obvious.
@tatanga Wow! In Poland NFL is super unpopular! I did't hear about any person who watch it.. We like only football (real football, not american football ), Tennis, Volleyball and Ski Jumping.
Still doesn't have Polish language, but it is announced as the first game and Mario Kart World in Polish from Nintendo. A country of almost 40 million people and we are still waiting. Maybe january.
@AmplifyMJ I wouldn't say your nephew wouldn't have a good time with ZA.
The problem is, if it weren't a "Pokemon" game, everyone would think that it is some bad game from a small studio with no original ideas and money, and people wouldn't pay more than a few dollars.
@SBandy1 You're right, of course. Pokemon games sell incredibly well, regardless of whether they're good or not. It doesn't surprise me, because a lot of people buy new Pokemon, not "the game." And it's our fault that the Pokemon Company makes bad games because they know we'll buy them anyway. And we know, we have to fight them with our money. Ehh, no more preorder Pokemon games.
And it's a good thing it's selling "poorly". This game is one of the worst Pokémon games I've ever played. The Pokémon Company should learn a lesson that people won't buy a bad game without a budget, and next time they'll make something better. I bought this game, like every Pokémon game, and I'm disappointed. Pokemon Arceus and S/V were much better games

DK Bananza and MK World are first games with Polish language! 30 years too late, but we are very happy about it!
