Re: Talking Point: The Download or Disc Dilemma

BF-Medic

After many years of collecting boxes, I'm starting to see that there is just too much stuff piling up. Especially after changing apartment a couple of times!
So yeah, I mostly download games now. And I really like the convenient of just having the game ready on the WiiU to boot up.
And the Nintendo Premium thingy helps a bit on the price

Re: Review: Need for Speed: Most Wanted U (Wii U)

BF-Medic

Really been enjoying this game during the weekend, with no glitching and freezing. (I have the download version).
Time flies when you start cruising around the town, and getting the unlocks to the different cars via races and "tasks" really makes you wanna have "just one more run"
And the multiplayer is solid!

(Feel free to add me to your friend-list for some multiplayer gaming)

Re: Talking Point: Sony's PlayStation 4 Poses a Fresh Challenge for Wii U in the 2013 Holidays

After having the Wii U for a couple of weeks, I see the big advantage with having the second monitor in hands. There is so many possibilities with this, like giving the suspense moment in Zombie U where u have to look down, but can't pause the game. And every dev. can explore this mechanic with no risk, since it's already included.
But I can't see that this will happen with PS4/Vita, since it's not bundled. Devs can't make a game reliant on using the Vita, since that would exclude most users.
I don't think there will be a playstation on me in this round....and that will be a first...since I think Wii U will cover all my needs. But we will see, maybe when the price is right

Can barely wait for this!! If it has Wi-Fi multiplayer it will be da poo!
Could we please also get the Arcade version of Super Off Road?

Re: Hardware Focus - Commodore 64

Great article Kelvin!
The C64 was my first computer/gaming-system, and will always be my true love. So I would love to see many of the games released on VC, so people that might not have experienced the many classics can do so on their Wii.

For myself, I might purchase a few IF there will be a way to use a proper joystick (for instance Competition Pro USB). But since I still have 2 C64 and 1 C128 that still works, with hundreds of games, I will probably just buy my top favourites:
Last Ninja, Pirates, Turrican, Elite, Bombuzal, Defender of the Crown, Boulder Dash, International Karate etc. etc.

But it is great that millions of Wii owners soon can check out some classic piece's of gaming history!

Re: EU VC Releases - 29th February - Super Turrican

BF-Medic

Turrican rocks! Great gameplay and the music is fantastic.

I haven't got access to my Wii in about a week, so I downloaded some of the versions on Amiga and C64 last night to my computer, that's when I found out it was too long since I had played those games! Fingers crossed for the C64 versions to be realeased soon!

Kirby 64 will eventually come to EU people, and personally I think Kirby's Adventure are way better...I will probably skip the N64 version.

Re: River City Ransom

Crossing what can be crossed for this game to be released this week, both in EU and NA! Pretty, pretty please...

Re: US VC Releases - 1st October - Two Japan-only games

BF-Medic

Curse you Nintendo! Why do you treat your customers so different?? Don't you think we allready pay enough in EU? Maybe we should pay even more then we already do, contra US Wii owners? No wonder people think you will most likely lose out to PS3/X360 in the end....people don't like to be treated different! bah!
