@NintySnesMan i have a wiiu and i wouldnt mind rebuying a few games just to unclutter my entertainment center some, if i could get a few of theese games my WiiU would go to storage. personally i think its BS not allowing backwards compatibility for digital content so if they do rerelease i hope they do a discount or dont charge(yea right) to get the games again.
this past weekend i had my switch at my inlaws and my 5 year old nephew had no issues playing the switch he played snake pass for like 3 hours with no issues this would be dumb to make a smaller one, its not like the switch is much bigger if at all to my kindle fire tablet. I do see nintendo making a upgraded model say in 3 years that uses the same dock, or some kind of dock upgrade that increases the power or does something besides just convert usb-c to hdmi
@Crono1973 not owning a WiiU hell to this day i still have friends that think the WiiU was a Wii attachment for teh tablet or something...they really didnt know and the stores didnt help, the switch on the other hand has grabbed thier attentions and alot of them are waiting for more AAA games and if porting some games now to build out the library even if they are ports im sure alot of them would be bought i dont believe they should be 60$ though maybe 40 at most for them. I would rebuy Super Smash Bros, and Mario Maker. I wish nintendo would do something like a Zelda or Mario Anthology thats is all the games up to the current gen.
i get the reason why some say no ports but the lack of sales on the WiiU means alot of these games will sell well on a better selling system games like Bayonetta1/2 Xenoblade CX are good examples of overlooked and unknown games to alot. i have no issue with ports of older games from the WiiU i just hope they do some kind of upgrade if you bought them digitally even if it cost me 20$ to transfer certain games, but by the way they are going with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe im gonna guess they wont do that for anything other then hopefully Virtual Console.
ok so the nintendo switch will be a complete failure....i say this not cause i believe it but because pachter said otherwise...he is NEVER correct and how he still has a job baffles my mind...i will say i said this on another forum, the switch will sell well cause its not trying to be first bill for the tv if it was it would have freaking netflix and streaming apps already....because it will be a second console i can see both x1 and ps4 owners buying this as thier second console... for me i will be buying games on the switch first cause i like the ability to keep playing and to move from room to room and dock easily with multiple docks.
@Goob 70 hours into zelda about 50 of that docked and i can say using a metal yard stick that is also a level and it think heavy dudty construction grade i have 0 bend to mine, but i also barely ever play handheld mostly tablet cause i hate the joycons for zelda.
@liljmoore i got 70 hours on Zelda and i only got two beast down im working on my side quest and shrine hunting already got sword/shield/and my bow i technically could take on gannon now but im waiting.
me personally i will buy a nintendo switch version over the ps4 version if and only if theres no major framerate issues... im a older gamer and unlike the kids these days graphics dont mean as much to me...i prefer the ability to play where and when i want to...the switch finally does this in a home console quality. Love playing Zelda on my lunch break at work.
i wonder if thats why i havent seen a issue i have the lan adapter and i dont use the wifi when docked . 35+ hours into zelda and i have only seen a handful of drops and thats normally in a heavily forested area
@RatKing64 i have never used a browser on any game system it just seems dumb, you either have a phone, tablet or computer near you....and its not like this has cellphone support so browsing on the go is not happening.
im using a 90 degree USB cable and a anker battery if i need to charge while using the stand the 90 degree angle bends to the back and thats what the system sits on. its not 100% stable but if you dont touch the system it does in a pinch.
you forgot one screen protector i dont see a point to tempered glass as it still scratches and has a higher chance of shattering. i honestly believe thats why nintendo went with a plastic screen to stop shattering to a point i use the skinomi screen protector 9$ for two and if you apply it correctly it goes on easy with no bubbles. use plenty of the liquid on your fingers, use some on the screen and plenty on the sticky side of protector dont touch the sticky side at all.
