Borderlands 4(fps). This isn't about polishing rough edges, this is about getting the game to run at all. Even when it does release I have zero confidence it'll be issue free.
The consensus is far from unanimous though and most of the criticism is levelled at a weak narrative stuffed with forgettable characters. It also feels like you're glossing over the backlash on how poorly it runs and how Randy Pitchford is on twitter attacking critical consumers.
A couple of friends went last year and vowed never again. For what is supposed to be a global exhibition, many of the talks and signage was only in German. It was wildly crowded and lots of people were just sitting on the floor, as there are basically no seats, making getting around even worse. They had prepared themselves for queues but the reality was worse. GC had simply oversold the event was their summary.
The switch is a secondary console for me and the price of entry is high but not too off putting, the real issue is the cost of the games, Nintendo titles rarely drop in price.
Nintendo being naive sums it up. It's out in wild, they sent the dummy consoles out there. They had the chance to reveal things on their terms but simply sat on things too long, likely wanting to wring out the final few drops of console sales, when it's obvious the switch has been limping along for the last few years. Nintendo is as much to blame for this situation as the leakers.
With both the Saudis and the Chinese, countries with provable modern day human rights abuse records, investing heavily in games there has to be concerns about censorship and revisionist history.
Horizon has so many good things going for it but I struggled with Aloy's characterisation, particularly in the sequel. She's incredibly po-faced and an a-hole to pretty much everyone she meets. At least here she looks like she's having fun.
That's a steep price for a game you can complete in a single sitting. It was ok but I was annoyed that the choice of ending and love interest aren't independent of each other.

Plenty of pirates play switch exclusives on their steam decks, let's not pretend otherwise.

Re: Soapbox: Fire Emblem’s Future May Not Be In Turn-Based Combat
I couldn't get past the terrible art style. The MC's design was just so bad, it was like they'd lost a bet or something.
