While Super Mario 3D World is most definitely a good time, those of you who have already experienced the game on Wii U will be most interested in the excellent Bowser's Fury expansion, which offers an open-world setting with Cat Shines to collect.
In this guide, we'll be showing you all of the Cat Shine locations in Bowser's Fury.
Scamper Shores Cat Shine locations

After grabbing your first Cat Shine at Fur Step Island, you're transported to another (sunnier) location. You'll meet Bowser Jr here, and you'll join forces. Once this is done, head forwards to the archway directly ahead, which leads to Scamper Shores and your next Cat Shine.
Scamper Shores Cat Shine "Make The Lighthouse Shine"
The pathway heads off to the right – grab the bell to turn into Cat Mario, which makes things easier. Keep moving and you'll come to a narrow platform with Conkdors on either side. Make sure you're dashing (hold Y) and you'll make it over just fine, as long as you time your run so hit the rotating nets at just the right time.
Once you've done this, you can head to the right and up the slope to the Cat Shine.
Scamper Shores Cat Shine "Fury Shadow By The Shore"
To access this Shine, you'll need to leave the area and then return to it (the easiest way is to approach the nearby Giga Bell and then head back to Scamper Shores). Once you've done this, you'll see a ball of ink appear in the shape of a spikey ball, close to the archway. This will turn into Dark Luigi and then run off. Give chase and hit Dark Luigi three times (Bowser Jr will help you out with this, if you told him to be super-helpful when you began your game).

Scamper Shores Cat Shine "Five Cat Shine Shards"
To get this Cat Shine, you'll need to collect the five Cat Shine Shards scattered across the Scamper Shores.
One Cat Shine Shard is found at the top of the rotating nets.

Another Cat Shine Shard can be found behind a rotating net, directly below where the previous cat icon is.

Another Cat Shine Shard is hidden away in a wooden box right next to the very first rotating net you came across earlier. Run up the net and wait for it to rotate, then leap onto the wooden box.
Head onto the next rotating net, and you'll spot the Cat Shine Shard at the top.

The final Cat Shine Shard is hidden away in a hole in the wall just around the corner, behind some crates.

Scamper Shores Cat Shine "Key To The Cat Shine"
Leave the island and come back. You should see a golden cage on the beach, with a Cat Shine locked away inside. The key is located at the top of the island (where you found the first Scamper Shores Cat Shine). Grab it, and carry it down to the cage – be careful not to jump off and land in water, as you'll lose the key and it will be returned to its original location.
Scamper Shores Cat Shine "Blast The Fury Blocks"
Head down to the beach at the base of Scamper Shores island and you'll spot a row of Bowser Blocks. The Shine is behind these, but you'll have to wait for Bowser to awaken (and fry the blocks with his fire breath) before you can access it.
Congratulations! You've lit another lighthouse! You now possess five Cat Shines, so, if you wish, you can go to the Lakeside Giga Bell and ring it to fight Fury Bowser for the first time.
Once you've defeated him, it's time to head to Fort Flaptrap, your next island!
