While Super Mario 3D World is most definitely a good time, those of you who have already experienced the game on Wii U will be most interested in the excellent Bowser's Fury expansion, which offers an open-world setting with Cat Shines to collect.

In this guide, we'll be showing you all of the Cat Shine locations in Bowser's Fury.

Roiling Roller Isle "Make The Lighthouse Shine"

To collect the first Cat Shine here, you'll need to climb up to the lighthouse via a series of rotating platforms, covered in deadly lava. This is easily one of the hardest parts of Bowser's Fury, so take your time and don't rush. Also, make sure you collect the Tanooki suit (throw the first Bob-omb you encounter at the small stack of question mark blocks to get it) as the ability to float is incredibly handy during this section. When you reach the final series of rotating platforms that lead up to the lighthouse, the key is to walk carefully around the platforms as they turn until you reach the highest point, then use that to jump onto the next section.

(Clockwise from top left) Be sure to use the Bob-omb to get the Tanooki suit, as it makes this section so much easier. Look for high points on each rotating section and use those to leap onto the next section. Good luck![image]

Roiling Roller Isle "Hurry! Hot Cross Run!"

Exit the island and return, and you'll find another one of those big purple buttons near the archway. Ground-pound it, and a small course will appear to the right of the rotating platforms. The aim is to make your way to the end in 20 seconds or less. Having the Tanooki suit equipped is a must here, but don't rush yourself – you can finish under the time limit without dashing, and, if you time it right, you can even use the rotating section to leap and float over the final section.

Roiling Roller Isle "Key To The Cat Shine"

Leave the island and a Cat Shine in a cage will appear next to the archway. The key is located next to the lighthouse, but don't worry – the abundance of Propellor boxes on offer means you can make your way up there much easier than last time. Make sure you have the Tanooki suit equipped because once you've got the key, you can simply float down to the cage and unlock the Cat Shine.

Roiling Roller Isle "Five Cat Shine Shards"

The first Cat Shine Shard is located on the first rotating section, close to the middle where there's a split. If you angle the camera downwards, you can see it floating in mid-air. The good news is that there's a hidden platform beneath it so you can jump right down and grab it. Then carefully jump back onto the rotating platform.

The second Cat Shine Shard is located at the end of the same rotating section. Time your jump carefully to grab it before leaping off onto the next section of the course.

The third Cat Shine Shard is sitting on top of the stack of Goombas, located on the next part of the level. Take them out to gain access to it.

The next Cat Shine Shard is hidden behind a wall of blocks on the next rotating section. Stun a Bob-omb and throw it at the wall to reveal the shard.

The final Cat Shine Shard is right on the final rotating section, just before the lighthouse. You'll need to carefully navigate the platform as it rotates and backtrack slightly to grab the shard. You can then leap from this position and land right on the lighthouse tower.

Roiling Roller Isle "Blast The Fury Blocks"

The Bower Blocks are really easy to find here – they're right next to the archway, at the base of the tower which has the lighthouse at the top.

You're doing amazing! Move onto the Wasteland Giga Bell area next.
