If you've picked up Animal Crossing: New Horizons recently, before you get to rare fish and bugs or deciding where to put your tent (don't worry too much - you can move your tent or house later) you'll no doubt have come across the first head-scratching decision you have to make in the game, asked by Timmy and Tommy Nook – 'If you could only bring ONE thing with you to a deserted island, what would it be?'
You've given four options to pick from:
- A sleeping bag
- A lamp
- Some food
- Something to kill time
Previous Animal Crossing games would ask you a series of questions at the start of a new game that would have an impact on how things played out the moment you arrived in the town, so it's understandable that you might be a bit nervous about answering this particular question.
You know what? You don't need to be, because the answer is irrelevant. You actually get all four of the listed items the moment you arrive on the island – so you could say this is a little in-joke by the developers. Guffaw!
