@BingleyBong_TEAMPAST Sorry, that's just my speculation. I fully expect another BIG Big Run during the Grand Festival's Sneak Peek. I know we just had one, but I don't want to think it'd just take place at one site like a normal Big Run, even if it was new like Flounder Heights.
Part of me wants to dream that it'll be an even more special Big Run, like featuring an exclusive site and/or King Salmonid.

@BingleyBong_TEAMPAST Eww.. Pretty vile to see that in a game beloved by the LGTB community and I suspect even the devs would be disgusted by it too, but I don't see much point in reporting them. Very unlikely Nintendo would do anything about it. Just have to wait until the election is over..
Not fully decided yet, but I think I'm going Future. I have a special place in my heart for the first Splatoon, but it's not nearly as refined. Pretty basic and lacking in content in comparison to 2 and 3. A lot of its specials are OP broken nonsense too..LOL! I also can't forget it's infamous Damage Up ability that got abused to and hell back(i'm looking at you e-liter mains middle finger firmly raised). I'm convinced this(and its slower gameplay) is why a lot of no skill casuals love it and don't really like 3 much. I think it has become a bit overrated over the years while 3 is underrated, at least right now. Consensus might be different 4 or 5 years from now.. Who knows.. Oh, and it didn't even have Salmon Run! 👎
@vio NooOOOoo, you're only focusing on the bad parts of Splat 1!!! What about the maps! The uniqueness! Amiibo challenges! Squid Jump! THE SQUID SISTERS!!! Also, I strongly doubt nintendo will add back lots of things you talked about. I don't think damage up will ever be making a comeback, and nintendo would definetly redesign or outright replace the awful specials. Also, what if past gave us a game taking place around the great turf war! A game further back in time than the first one! Just because you didn't like some stuff in splat 1 doesn't mean you should abandon team past! Also yeah I'm just going to wait and pretend I never saw politics in my schplatoon .
Who’s to say Splatoon 4 could be a prequel? I’m not convinced Nintendo would really do it. They could just as easily make it a story mode, not make the whole game like that.
It’s a good thing I’m not more of an Off the Hook fan or else I wouldn’t be happy with them being saddled with the weakest choice. I don’t know if even their huge fan base will be enough to carry Team Present. Who wants more of the same?
Battle Royale could happen in any time period, but I think bots would be much more likely in the future. Let’s give that robot in Splatoon 3’s lobby a chance to shine!

I'll probably go for Team Future. Assuming that the Grand Festival will be the last Splatfest (which seems very likely) and that the winning team would affect the next game, it would be cool to see a futuristic-styled Splatoon 4 if Team Future wins. I've always liked futuristic/sci-fi settings in general anyway. It's partially why I like games like Metroid, F-Zero, and Mega Man, to give a few examples. Mario Kart 8 as well, with its anti-gravity courses.
As for the food-themed Splatfest in August, I kind of have trouble deciding what team to pick. I'll have to think about it. I was on Team Theme Park in the last Splatfest, but didn't play in it much.
In the latest edition of "Cool Japan-Only Splatoon Merch", the Nintendo Stores and Toyama Civic Plaza EXPOCITY in Japan will have more Salmon Run merch, such as chairs, clothing, a bag and a plastic Golden Egg.

Can someone explain to me how a Turf War player can play the entire battle and finish with zero ink spread? Not even 1p? These are not disconnects or people who put the controller down and leave themselves at the spawn point. Are they just following their teammates' ink trail to a sniper point and then parking themselves there for three minutes? Sometimes these folks have zero ink spread but both splats and times splatted. I see this constantly, and it always perplexes me.
I just had the weirdest game. There were 6 disconnects so all that was left was me and one other player on the other team so I completely changed up the way I played and it just turned into me into hunting the other player and whilst he’s respawning ink as much of the map as I could. I ended up winning.
@Truegamer79 No, the only way to listen to music in Splatoon 1 was Squid Beatz, one of the arcade minigames that could only be unlocked by using the Inkling Squid amiibo.
