@CaleBoi25@AccessibleDaydream Thanks!!! I made it to S rank with 3-1. I played Splat Zones with a Carbon Deco, although Zones isn't my favorite I liked the rotation.
My highest rank in Splatoon 2 was S+ in Rainmaker so hopefully I can get at least S+ in next season.
Congratulations on your rank ups you two! I did a series last night where I had 4 wins and 3 losses, and ended up with 245 points, putting me 20 points away from S rank up battle. I then lost an open match, so 23 points to S. Earlier today, I did another series, in which I had 3 wins and 3 losses, however I still ended up with 201 points, meaning I've gained enough points to attempt S rank up while still having some left over. Now to wait for a rotation I know like the back of my hand...
Oh, @CaleBoi25, you said you're interested in seeing if competitive is right for you, didn't you? Do you play any anchor weapons, such as Snipewriter or E-Liter, or any pseudo-anchor weapons, such as .96 Gal or Heavy Edit Splatling? My team is looking for an anchor if it might be of interest.
@Dev1024 CRD is a really good weapon, but personally I have always been more into the vanilla kit, even tho it is worse. That said, I also love the Roller (or technically the Order Roller Replica, but same ol same ol ).
@AccessibleDaydream Oooh, color me intrigued! I actually do play HEdit, mostly the vanilla kit, but I can play the Nouveau kit as well. Perhaps we could try out some games in Open sometime! (If we were to try with comms, I am wondering, are you guys a "clean language" team? I prefer to avoid cursing when possible )
@CaleBoi25 my captain said she’d be interested in seeing your potential! The first thing I will need you to do, if you’re really interested, is join Discord, so I can add you to the server. As for clean language, I can’t make any promises, but extra flourishes are typically avoided in proper comms anyway.

One question though, and you can wait to answer this until we’re in direct messages if it would be more comfortable, but how old are you? Our team is 18+ only at this time, but there will be some flexibility if you’re, say, 17-about-to-turn-18.

As far as joining the team goes, I do not have Discord but can look into it, and I am 17, but (without being specific) can say I will be 18 withing the next 3 months. @Potato-man this goes to both you and Cale: Thanks for the congratulations! The biggest shock to me was not that I made it through rank up, but that I made it 3-0! The last match was literally over in less than a minute or two! The second match was the roughest, because I went 0-7-4 from a combination of suction bombs and sneaky Charcoal Decavitator charge slashes. The first one, though, was just an average match to be honest.
To answer your question, potato, I used the Splattershot Junior with Splat Bombs and Big Bubbler, meaning that I’ve now gone from C+ to S with the starter weapon!
@AccessibleDaydream nice, Splat Jr. is a really good weapon I use it sometimes in zones. If you used Jr. for all C+ to S do you have the 5 or 4 star badge?

@Potato-man yes, I have the 5 star Junior badge. I’m most likely going to be moving away from junior and back N-Zap though, so I’ll get 5 stars on that eventually (currently have 4.5).

About That message you left, sorry for not getting back to ya! I was really busy over Thanksgiving weekend... Anyway, I spoke with my parents about it, since Discord requires parental consent for non-adult users. Sadly, they said they wouldn't feel comfortable with me using comms with people we do not know personally, so... Thank you so much for the offer, but I wont be able to join your team.
