@Sunsy I've played a fair amount of the 3DS version as well. I like how it has a different assortment of levels, but overall I liked the console/PC version more. Would've been cool to see levels from the Sonic Advance trilogy being remade.

Did you guys see this? 🤔
It's about the next Dev Diary that released a week (ish) ago about Ninjala. https://gonintendo.com/stories/375322-ninjala-developer-diary...
I know most people on Nintendo Life don't seem to care for Ninjala, but I thought it had some interesting parts and wanted to share it with you guys.
In case you're wondering why I'm posting it here, it's because I already posted in the Ninjala Forum and sent Nintendo Life a News Tip via the Contact Us Page and I didn't receive a response from either response. 🤔
Also, @ryancraddock, @Liam_Doolan, and @KateGray, (or others @NintendoLife) if you guys want to cover this article about Ninjala, the link is above.
EDIT: I really hope you guys don't mind me posting this here, if you do mind, please let me know. 🤔
Please give Ninjala a chance, guys. 🤔
As @Sunsy said,
Ninjala Gang FOR LIFE!
Also, if I don't respond to your post within a day (or two), don't worry, I'm not ignoring you. I'm going to be busy, though I will do my best to respond in a timely fashion.
@Sunsy
Oh okay, that makes sense.
Hopefully, everything's unpacked from the move, so you get back to playing the games you played shortly before moving.
That is correct, but that also means that the Vehicles (and Traps) are not compatible with the Switch version, as there is no portal to put them on.
@ThanosReXXX
Well, I would also say mission accomplished as well.
Also, if you don't mind me asking, what makes you not interested in Ninjala? 🤔
@Tyranexx
Okay, I wasn't sure if you were joking or not. Whoops. Yeah, for sure. I was coding for a bit as well, and it was a pain at times.
If you don't mind me asking, what's the "language" you're using that isn't used much today? 🤔
Please give Ninjala a chance, guys. 🤔

@SM3DASislit
I do care about Ninjala. 😀
It stole my attention.
But it was used to be before i got hype on other games. 😅
Sorry.
If you felt lonely for nobody cares about Ninjala, i felt the same way too for Dillon's Dead Heat Breakers 3DS thread that i created my 2 years ago and nobody ever replied my thread.
So I haven't watched regular cable TV for any extended amount of time for a long time. We're talking close to a decade. Maybe every few months or so I end up watching regular TV with someone though.
And today I felt like just sitting out and watching some TV with my uncle. And we were sitting there watching history channel - a station I used to watch all the time back when I was younger and a station I know he likes. And I honestly do not remember there being nearly so many commercials. I am reasonably sure that there was more commercials than actual show. And at one point the commercial cut off someone mid sentence. I rage quit after an hour and a half. I guess my uncle is just used to it. But I was on the verge of throwing the remote at the TV. Why do people pay for cable? I don't understand it at all. You're paying to watch advertisements for erectile dysfunction and home owner's insurance over and over.
I will never pay for cable. Never happening. If the only way to watch something is to have cable, I can do without it. I'll stick with a good internet connection and Crunchyroll and one or two other streaming services.

Have any Layton fans here played the Layton Brothers Mystery Room mobile spin-off? Is it decent?
@Heavyarms55 Funnily enough, both Latias I received through research breakthroughs were shiny! I traded one off for a different shiny legendary awhile back though. Kept the other. I'd raid for it just to get a normal one. XD And I'd love a shot at a shiny Latios! It's a nice green.
The group is selectively social, depending on the season and person. We coordinate in person and/or through a Discord server usually. Some of the gyms are spread out though, so sometimes it's easier to get around by car.
(I do sometimes run the game when I'm driving between stop/gym locations, but I intentionally put my phone away while my car is in gear)
@ThanosReXXX That's a pretty decent haul! Especially the Zelda titles. Ocarina of Time 3D needs no introduction, and A Link Between Worlds is one of the best handheld titles in my opinion. Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. is one I'm also considering picking up for cheap. Same with Star Fox 64 3D. I've actually tossed around getting Federation Force, but I'm still on the fence about it; not that I think it's a bad game - because when DOES the internet ever exaggerate? - but because I'm concerned that it's more multiplayer and shooter-focused. Not that I dislike those elements, but I much prefer the exploration, upgrades, and environmental puzzles in Metroid games. Though the series does have some pretty amazing boss battles....
All in all, a good haul I'd say!
@PokemonGirl99 Awesome! Out of curiosity, what team do you plan to use?
@SM3DASislit It's more a development environment with its own way of doing things, known as PowerBuilder; it uses its own type of language called PowerScript, but IIRC the whole thing was built using C# and does integrate well with that language. It's not as modern as some languages and isn't the most open source option out there. The company currently in charge of updating it, Appeon, is working really hard to modernize it, but these things take time. The problem is the previous company bought it from its previous owner/maintainer and left most of it to rot. There's a LOT of catching up to do. Many devs well-versed in the language are middle aged and older. I'm one of the few younger folks that show up at the conferences lol.
I work to help develop and maintain the desktop side of a client/server service management app. We also have a mobile dev team working to help modernize some aspects of it for a modern user experience we can connect to. We already share some services and the database between the two pieces.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet - The Indigo Disk, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
@Tyranexx Glad to hear you're safe while playing. Not that I expected otherwise. In Kyoto there's so many gyms and stops where I used to go that there was no need to drive. I think I still have some old screenshots on my old phone. I should see if I can find them.

Actually, Federation Force was the only Metroid spin off i have.
I have unlocked mission 11, 12 and 13 but i still haven't finished yet.
Federation Force was my first attempt to try 1st person shooter games for kids after i was very against with every shooter games.
I losen a bit my gaming rules restriction for shooter games genre after long deliberation.
And thus i played Ratchet & Clank games after i tried Federation Force.
@Tyranexx Layton Brothers Mystery Room is pretty good. The basics of the game is that you investigate crime scenes, then bring in the prime suspect for questioning to get to the bottom of what happened. It's much more relaxed than the likes of Ace Attorney and doesn't have as much depth, but it does have its charm.
On android, the first two cases are free, so you can try it out if you're interested. I think it's the same on apple devices, but don't quote me on that.
@NintendoByNature Well, have fun you two. It really is a fun game to play with a family member. My nephew was like that, and so was I. I remember having a Yoshi plushie during the N64 days, and I have of the newer ones. Always loved Yoshi.
@ThanosReXXX Perfectly understandable. Just wanted to mention to Anti that there was an update for the game. I'll also do my own research, had to do so last month when the winter sales on PC were happening. I had my eye on a game, but wanted to learn more about it before buying it.
@MarioLover92 Cool. I wish the Sonic Advance games got more love. I loved SEGA released an EP with some Sonic GBA games last year on iTunes. I ended up buying it as I love the games. I still keep my GBA on my night table just to play Sonic Battle.
@SM3DASislit Thanks, everything did get unpacked. I moved a couple years back, so it was around the time Imaginators was new. I believe that's correct that the vehicles won't work, my friend was thinking about it, but found out they removed the racing elements from the Switch port, which makes the Wii U one the better version oddly.
I still need to see the dev diary. I was playing Ninjala the other day too. I've been keeping up with the anime on the YouTube channel, and even bought the Tails outfit for my avatar and one of the single player chapters. Will say, I wished the Sonic collab had Amy, would have been so perfect for a hammer main.
@Heavyarms55@NintendoByNature Haven't had cable in years. Mostly just stuck with Netflix, and the one show I kept up with, I just bought the season pass from iTunes and had the episodes delivered to my computer. Did recently get Hulu for TrollsTopia as I love the Trolls movies, but it also allowed me to watch more shows that Netflix didn't have, so I may end up keeping it.

@Heavyarms55 I haven't had cable for literally the longest time, and I'm happy without it too, honestly. Picking a few streaming services is MUCH easier on the wallet in comparison. Also, with cable you may have to deal with hefty bills, on top of having access to potentially many channels you may not care about. Last I knew, Spectrum was REALLY bad with their bills - there was even a whole YouTube video about it, though I think it was originally from a news channel. So yeah. Cable isn't worth it.

@Heavyarms55 I get what you're saying. I watch a lot of sports live (or 'postponed' live) though and so far cable has been the better option. It offers lots of ways to watch games and races after it happened without knowing the result which is important to me since I can't watch everything live because of work and other obligations. Moreover, if I do watch live, cable is usually 10-20 seconds more 'live' than web streaming. That's nice since we're often chatting with friends about a game.
What helps is that I get a decent discount on my internet and TV plan (including a lot of sports channels) through my employer. I hardly ever watch anything else than sports and the occasional news update though.
@Sunsy Wait, Sega rereleased some GBA Sonic games on iTunes? I didn't know that. Then again, I'm not really a mobile gamer, lol. I know they have the Christian Whitehead versions of Sonic 1, 2, and CD on mobile devices.
The Sonic Advance games are solid. They don't come close to the Genesis games in my opinion, but I still enjoyed them nonetheless. Would be cool to see a remake of all three games on the Switch, preferably with QoL improvements. (Example: make the special stages easier to enter.)
Oh yeah, speaking of GBA games, I went ahead and replayed Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land for nostalgia's sake. I finished it, as well. It was the second Kirby game I've played, after Kirby 64. Still a good game after all these years.

@MarioLover92 An EP, which is a small album of music, basically a collection of five songs with one song from each of the GBA games. It's called Sonic Sound Station Selection Vol 1. I also wish for remakes, or even ports of the Advance games. I remember reading they came to Wii U in Japan, sadly not anywhere else.
Congrats on finishing it. Kirby Nightmare in Dream Land is another favorite GBA game. In addition to the main game, I use to love linking it up with friends and playing the bomb rally mini-game, we always got a good laugh at it.

@ThanosReXXX I ordered the game from that site. If everything go smoothly I will have one more place to buy games
On a side note play-asia just notified me that they have sent my FFX/X-2. Two months after the purchase! But from the Asian region things are really slow as usual.
