I would welcome all of those games as well.

Here's the game I want on BC:
Untitled
If you're even remotely interested in Greek mythology and lore, then this brilliant action RPG is pretty much a must have.

Truly great story, solid and entertaining combat, glorious finishing moves and... yeah, Greek mythology. I'm an absolute sucker for that.

Here's some actual gameplay from the first chapter of the game:

'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'

ThanosReXXX

@Zuljaras I hope you can still get it for an affordable price, and I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it if you do.

EDIT:

Well, whaddaya know...

Anyone else excited for the new Radiant Black (comic book) series coming out of Image?

Considering what Kyle Higgins pulled out of the bag with the Shattered Grid arc in MMPR, its going to be interesting to see what he does with his own book.

I've got that on Steam, @ThanosReXXX... Must get around to playing it sometime

@Blooper987
I've heard of LEGO Dimensions, but I never picked it up myself. That's good that you like LEGO Dimensions. Didn't realize that Shrek, Mega Man, and Steve were going to be in it. I was surprised as well when they announced the cancellation.

@Mr-Fuggles777, @BruceCM
I know he did a couple of Batman films, I just wasn't on which ones they were. I (for some reason) assumed that Tim Burton did Batman & Robin, and I don't know why I thought that.

@Mr-Fuggles777
I forgot he didn't actually direct Nightmare Before Christmas.
I was also annoyed that the story was split up and it wasn't very good like you said. I also didn't Disney Infinity that much, because of the (ridiculously) long loading times, the various bugs/glitches would come across, especially in multiplayer, and 2.0's online wasn't very good.

@ThanosReXXX
I didn't realize you owned any of the Skylanders games. Like I've told others, the Skylanders game I have is Skylanders: Superchargers.
If you mean the language select is on the side of the page constantly until you click one, then yes, it's screwed up over here as well.
Nice, I thought the obvious reason why Tree Rex was your favorite, was because he looks pretty cool, but the name reason makes sense as well. 🤔
I can see why he guards your Dreamcast and GameCube, if someone tries to mess with them, they might get "spooked" by Tree Rex.

@Sunsy
Okay, thanks for letting me know. Seems like you've played quite a bit of the series. If you don't mind me asking, do you still have Imaginators? You make it sound like you don't have it anymore.

@Anti-Matter
Okay, thanks for letting me know.
I've heard of some of the shows, but some of them I haven't even heard of at all.
I get that, some people like niche franchises more, and some people like famous franchises. It all just depends on our interests/tastes in things.
The '90s were a good time period for movies/games. I only know a couple of the series you mentioned, Looney Tunes and Tiny Toon Adventures, but it's still that you found some older Western cartoons that you like. 🤔
I can understand that, sometimes outfits can be a bit too flashy (or colorful) to get used to. Medieval doesn't tend to have a lot of colors (Even if LOTR is really good). I don't have any interest in Harry Potter either. Hahaha, I mean that's supposed to be the definition of Pirates, but I get where why Pirates can be off-putting for some people. 🤔

@Tyranexx
Okay, that's good. I was hoping that it didn't become a "big" research project. LOL.

@TheJGG
Wait, seriously?!
That does and doesn't surprise me at the same time, considering how bizarre Sonic Boom is.
I think the main reason why Sonic memes are eternal is because of the fact that Sega (at least) acknowledges Sonic memes, and in some cases fully embraces them. Yeah, Uganda Knuckles was "interesting" (to say the least).
I haven't seen it either, but it's definitely crazy with the jokes, breaking the fourth wall, and self-aware moments, like you, said.
Interesting sounds like the Persona 4 Anime sounds like the Sonic Boom of the Persona. I haven't played any of the Persona games.

@ogo79
Haha, that's gold and true.

@Snatcher
It looks like it's official, and that's really cool that's this is the case. You might want to tag one of the authors (or just tag NintendoLife itself), so the article can be updated. 🤔

This is for anyone:
So, I know you guys have mentioned Skylanders, Disney Infinity, LEGO Dimensions, and even Amiibo when Toys to Life games were mentioned, but have you guys heard of (or played) a Toys to Life game called U.B. Funkeys? 🤔
EDIT: Also, I will have to start winding down my responses starting this week, as I start school today, so I'll have to (unfortunately) start shifting my focus to school again. I will attempt to post on weekends, but I can't guarantee anything. You guys have been amazing, so please continue being amazing while I'm doing school.

Sure, I don't see why you can't do it here. I've also tried to get Nintendo Life to write an article about a news tip I sent them, but I haven't gotten a response, nor have they written the article yet. 🤔

Please give Ninjala a chance, guys. 🤔

ThanosReXXX

@BruceCM You definitely should. It's a great game with a wonderful, mythic story. And how could it not be, when it recounts the ancient tale of Jason and the Argonauts?

@Anti-Matter You're welcome.

@SM3DASislit Funny story is that a couple of Christmasses ago, I actually bought a complete Skylanders set for my cousin's kids, and because of that, I got more involved in the figures and the games, and I tried the Spyro game out and got hooked. They're all really solid games. They may look a little childish, but I'd classify them all ages, because even for someone my age, they're still entertaining enough to spend quite a bit of time with.

Weird that the official website is so screwed up, no? Especially since it's official and all, but apparently, it's only the case for older games. Strangely enough, if you click on "Games" in the menu bar at the top, it simply goes to the latest game in the series, instead of linking to a list of all the games.

Oh, well. At least you could see the videos, which was the point of me linking to those pages in the first place.

@Mr-Fuggles777 Ah, comics....

There was a time, several decades ago, when I was LITERALLY addicted to them, to a point where I amassed an insane debt of almost a 1000(!) bucks, because I ordered SO many series and collectibles each month, that the back log that I didn't immediately pick up from the store got bigger and bigger, and ultimately, they simply stopped processing my orders, sold off the rest of the comics still in my box, and basically banned me from the shop.

Not officially banned, mind you, but I had the choice to either bring down my 30+ series collection run to 4 or 5 series at most, but it was impossible to whittle down all those interesting series to just a handful, so I ultimately chose to pull the plug entirely, much to my own dismay. It was the comics equivalent of going cold turkey...

Some years ago, I started to collect digital comics, but ultimately, that just wasn't the same, and because digital is so much easier, it was also easier to collect dozens upon dozens of comics at the same time, where normally with physical comics, I'd only have a small stack of them every month. Having access to SO much material all at once also kind of took the fun out of it, making it less interesting and now I have many discs filled with entire digital comics series that I'll probably never even read...

In case you've gotten curious, take a look here. One mini series that I can definitely recommend as a must-read, is Battle Chasers. In case that name rings a bell, then that's probably because you got to know it from the game that came out some time ago, but the comics were actually released many years before there was even any mention of a game.

P.S.

In case you don't have it already: for digital comics, you will need a so-called CBR reader. (in case you don't know, CBR is the file extension, and it stands for Comic Book Reader file). The most user-friendly and versatile one is CDisplay Ex, and you can download it here.

And if you want any other comics recommendations, I'd be happy to oblige. You know where to find me...

@Eel Wow, that "Look Nintendo, I've created a new and improved GameCube logo" guy must really be tone deaf, huh?

'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'

Mr-Fuggles777

@ThanosReXXX I will check it out, ive tried to stay away from digital but now might be the time to dip in.
I dont have a local comic store so have to order online and i also have a monthly postal subscription for a handful of books

@Mr-Fuggles777 The reader program also works on Android tablets, so it's a perfect way to take entire comics collections with you all on one screen. I used to feel the same way, and I still feel like real books and comics are superior to digital, because it's also the feel and the experience in and of itself, but it's a convenient alternative nonetheless. And in this way, you could also double-dip and take your precious comics with you in digital form, while preserving the mint condition of the physical versions.

Just think of it as additional, not as replacement, and you'll eventually get into it, just as I did. Just don't start to download like crazy: that's the one mistake I made, which spoiled it for me again.

@ThanosReXXX it will be handy for series
/arcs that I want to reread but can't be bothered searching through my storage boxes for as well.
Thank you

Q: How do you know you've been online game shopping too much?
A: When you dream about buying one you're looking for at a decent price via Dream Mall GameStop. (Which I've been to before dream-wise, but not IRL to my knowledge)

I was soooo disappointed when I woke up....

@theJGG Hah! I enjoy a good tongue twister every now and again. I've personally never been to Boston, but I've definitely heard the accent parodied. I love accents; I think they're fascinating, but I try not to make a big deal about it when I come across someone with one. I'm worried they'd think I'm making fun of them when they isn't my intention at all.

@ogo79 I like some spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, eggs, and spam with my morning coffee.

@Eel Congrats on the Guzzlord! I messed around somewhat with the Ultra Wormholes in US as well, but I didn't want to grind out every single legendary. I liked exploring the different areas, but I eventually decided to move on.

Btw, sorry I missed your PoGo raid invites earlier. I was unfortunately still at work. Your raids aren't the only ones I missed out on either.

@ThanosReXXX What, the Dutch don't enjoy a nice helping of bacteria of questionable origin in their drinks?

There are signs the machines are cleaned a couple times a week, but I don't know who's responsible. There is a cleaning service that's in three times a week, but I don't know if the coffee machines fall under their jurisdiction.

Briefly on the Morrowind discussion: I wouldn't complain if that and/or Oblivion made their way to the Switch. I played a little of the latter on a cousin's Xbox 360 back in the day and enjoyed it.

@Tyranexx and a grind it was! I think I must've played that Ultra Ride minigame a few hundred times to find that one last Ultra Beast. Thankfully the Guzzlord itself was ridiculously easy to catch, you don't even need to attack it, just throw a few Ultra Balls at it... Unlike Regirock and its "I don't want to be in a premier ball!" attitude, sigh.

About Pokemon Go, hah don't worry (In fact I do apologize it if was a bad time!), in the end 8 other people ended up joining! Which is rare here. The Kyogre stayed in the ball too, thankfully. I will probably send a few more invites if I happen to find more kyogres or groudons. I kinda want to complete that research task that requires two of each.

If you or @HeavyArms55 happen to have a raid for them available, do invite me as well. I may fail to join but I'll absolutely try to whenever possible. (assuming the game wants to open, lately it's been a bit unstable)

@ThanosReXXX It's nice to see a fellow comics fan around here. What are your thoughts on the Preacher comic from Garth Ennis? I have been reading it and I have to say it's brilliant.

@SM3DASislit Hopefully Atlus ports some Persona games over to Switch for their 30th anniversary celebrations, so you can enjoy the magic of the Persona games. Combining engaging combat with excellent characters and decent social simulation aspects, it's a life away from life!
