Today on the Nintendo Direct showcasing 3DS and Nintendo Switch titles, not one, not two, but three new Kirby titles were announced for the Nintendo 3DS. Retaining the stereotype that Nintendo likes to mark the end of its console support with a multitude of Kirby titles.

The first of which is releasing exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, is free-to-start and supports up to four player co-operative play; it seems to be an expanded spin-off from the equivalent minigame in Kirby: Planet Robobot. The following class choices for Kirby were shown off as well - Sword Hero, Hammer Lord, Beam Mage, and one Doctor Healmore.

Next up, is Kirby's Blowout Blast, an action-puzzle game featuring 25 3D stages. This title is also digital-only, and will release on the Nintendo 3DS this summer.

Unfortunately, Nintendo didn't share any details regarding any possibility regarding a Nintendo Switch Kirby game. However, don't put the possibility out of the window just yet, as there's plenty of room for announcements at this year's E3. Regardless, what's your favourite Kirby game out of the ones announced today?
