If fast-paced animated parodies stuffed with Nintendo characters, references and in-jokes are of interest to you, there are decent odds that you're aware of James Farr's videos by now. To date popular film franchises such as Ghostbusters and Star Wars have been given the treatment in a whirl of bright colours and big N sound effects.
The latest effort from the animator is The Wiivengers which, as you may have guessed, riffs on the Marvel movie The Avengers. Once again it crushes the subject matter down into just a few crazy minutes, with iconic Nintendo characters taking on the famous roles. We're certainly fans of Farr's work at Nintendo Life HQ, and this latest video continues with the trademark zaniness and wit of its predecessors.

I think donkey kong needed to be the hulk but Kirby was the best part of them all and loki best character possible woooooo and yes I am a fan of waluigi.

That was amazing, only disappoint was I feel as though they missed an opportunity with Samus and Iron Man.

Brilliant stuff, was wholly expecting Hulk to be Donkey Kong, so Luigi really mixed it up!
I understand that using Mario as Iron Man because he's the "Leader"...but....Samus was the clear choice for that role and Donkey Kong should have Hulk (good choice for Luigi too though).

I have liked the past videos by this person but I have a few things I don't like so much about this one.
1. Why make Pit be Hawkeye? Pit is my third favourite Smash character (behind Shulk and Dark Pit), but Hawkeye was horrible in the film.
2. Why not make Luigi be Bruce Banner and Donkey Kong be the Hulk?
3. Was Black Widow meant to be Peach or Daisy, I couldn't tell?
4. The beginning was quite slow compared to the rest of it. They could have included so much more in this if it was all one speed.

@shaneoh Can't for the life of me understand why anyone can believe the Avengers was even a decent film, let alone 'amazing'. Just plain awful from every perspective. This video however, was very good. Better than the film, anyways!

I really like how Luigi turned out (excellent choice as Banner). Mario as Iron Man is okay, I guess, but the suit design didn't look right.

Toad as Coulson was an interesting choice. He could do a spin-off series where Agent Toad Coulson assmbles his own team of Agents Samus May, Pigma Ward, Clemont Fitz, Melia Simmons (British Accent FTW!), and Skystal (Skye/Krystal), joined later by Agent Anthony (Metroid: Other M) Triplett.
