Review Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! (DSiWare)
Is it a shameless cash-in or a worthy expansion of its forbearer?
Some have already voiced their concerns as to whether Minis March Again! is a shameless cash-in by Nintendo, simply copying Mario vs Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis and not really providing us with extra content or even new stages at all – which is certainly not true. What they...

Four decades of DK
Nintendo’s monkey of manifold mantles – one Donkey Kong, Esq. – recently turned 40. Forty years young and still so vital, but it could be reasonably argued that the ol’ Kongmeister has been undergoing a bit of an identity crisis for most of his lifespan. The man-ape has turned from heel to face to heel more times than The...

There's a total of 5 new releases this week - And all of them are highly regarded games! Nintendo Download Wars, Conquests, Rivalries and... Fish? (US)
There seems to be a very clear theme this week!
There's only really one surprise this week, and it's the weekly Virtual Console title. All of this week's WiiWare and DSiWare releases were already announced last week! On VC, you can go to war in another classic Koei strategy game for the SNES - Genghis Khan II: Clan of the Gray Wolf. It's not as...

News Nintendo DSiWare Promo Video
Nintendo looks to show off some of their first-party DSiWare titles.
Nintendo didn't want to ignore their new DSiWare service at E3, so they put together a promo video to show off some of their upcoming first-party DSiWare titles. Now a few of these games have already seen a release on the DSiWare service, but the video does show a bit of Mario vs...
About The Game
Thanks to the runaway success of Super Mini Mario World, Mario and Pauline have expanded their toy-filled theme park and invited everyone to the opening celebration – everyone, that is, except Donkey Kong, who was too late to get in.
Donkey Kong decides to crash the party and kidnaps Pauline along the way. Can Mario and his Mini Marios rescue Pauline from Donkey Kong’s clutches yet again? Make sure to explore the Construction Zone, where you’ll find all the tools needed to make your own original levels. You can then share your masterpieces or download levels created by others, via a local wireless connection or with broadband Internet access and Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

OMG, this is a major major announcement for me as I loved Mario vs Donkey Kong 2. I can't believe its coming to DSi Ware. Insta-download. Hope it turns out to be good....
Mario vs dk 2 is one of my favorite puzzle games ever. I am going to buy this.

This will be awesome. I loved the two previous games (no one here has mentioned MvDK for GBA yet...) so I'm definitely getting this on Monday night.
No download for me, as it's basically just a small upgrade of the second I bleieve. And I already own it.
I'm going to wait for a review before downloading this one, but I'm interested in it. I loved the GBA version
Being the big fan of the original MVDK that I am, I'm definitely getting this once I get a DSi.
I got the game. It's pretty fun. Seems harder than the DS one, I've never played the GBA one. It seems to have less levels than the DS one, but that can be obvious since its just a download. The Minis now alllll have to go in the door and in a time limit sort of deal too. And if any of them die or one doesn't even go in, you lose a life. Has the same elements so far from the DS one. For only $8 it's not so bad I say. Glad its not $10. Still can make your own levels which is always fun. Anyone have any questions? Maybe I can answer them.
@RurouniTeeter...are the levels the same as in the DS game?
it has different levels but the boss fight after each world are reused from the ds version. One big difference also is you can't stop or have direct control of the minis once you activated them. You can only influence their movement by manipulating the objects in the stage
Quite different gameplay therefore. A "Mario v DK 2.5" rather than a "Mario v DK 3" then
I'm planing on downloading this tonight
I really recommend this title, it is very addictive and on go since it's on the system. Very nice for quick plays.
I love this game because of the level editor. I love making challenging stages <
Just downloaded it last night, this is the first Mario vs. Donkey Kong game I've played, don't know why I passed up the previous two, but this one is great. The level creating and sharing is a nice feature.
I love this game. It's really cool. The only other one I've played is the first, and this is rather different.
I beat the first one that came out for the GBA. I bought this one with the free 1000 Dsi points I got.
It was the best free game I bought.
I don't know whether or not to buy this, I bought and beat the GBA one, but after that...well...they just didn't stand out to me...im gonna say no to this
I'm waiting for this, you guys in America, you have the last time great releases. Now I hope that Nintendo now comes with the fantastic news that it comes out next Friday in Europe. we're waiting for it.... And we deserve it!
