Black Friday 2024: Best Deals On Nintendo Switch Consoles, Games, eShop Credit, SD Cards And More

I really hope they add some more titles to the NA Black Friday list. I'm hopeful that something like Kirby Return to Dreamland Deluxe or Bayonetta Origins ends up there.

Ooh I’m liking these GameStop deals! Def picking up skyward sword. Like the above post I hope they add more soon. My local GameStop’s deals are pretty bad, I didn’t even think to look online.

Best Buy is selling the Atari 50 Collection for the Switch(physical) for $19.99. Just snagged myself a copy. 🙂

In my local Carrefour are ALL Nintendo Switch games marked down to €9.99!! 😯
I mean even the biggest titles. I was quite amazed. Zelda, Pikmin just to mention a few.
Only bought LEGO Star Wars, as I really prefer the games digitally.

Also (US) Kirby Return to Dreamland Deluxe is 50% off at Best Buy (Regular price $59.99)

@ NintendoLife, I tried to use the Black Friday Code to buy a 100 pound e-shop voucher, but I am a bit scared. It failed and then I got 2 texts, the first that I would soon get a text from Lloyds bank about a recent transaction, and the 2nd, which says from Lloyds Bank also, but has a number, that looking up shows it as a scam number with key words including bank drainage, payment, text. They ask to reply Yes or No to confirm the payment to Fame Hype and they may cancel future payments if I don't reply. I am ringing my bank later as I am bit concerned by this. Bit confused

**Update** - Spoke to lLoyds. They said that was normal where it concerns a gift voucher and there were no concerns with the company. Still a bit wary though so won't go through with buying this time. Thanks guys! It is a great offer, but this just left me a bit scared.

@Mana_Knight Llyods and RBSI/NatWest seem to have very stringent, automatic fraud systems in place - the latter, who I used to Bank with, used to cancel all of my Nintendo purchases automatically. You can imagine how annoying that was for console pre-orders! I tend to buy these things with PayPal these days; less hassle!

@sikthvash Well, better safe than sorry, but it really just panicked me more than anything and put me off trying again!!! That must have been very annoying! If paypal was an option, would have gone with that

@ElRoberico Nintendo had announced their first-party sales a week or two ago, that most retailers are honoring too. $30 games were Kirby Return to Dreamland, DKC: Tropic Freeze, Mario Strikers. $40 games were Zelda BOTW, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade 3.

I keep thinking about grabbing Xenoblade 3, but I don’t know if I could handle the incessant battle chatter.

How are the NES/SNES Final Fantasy games still not on sale?? 😤

@NinjaNicky I've just picked it up from Amazon UK, it was selling at number 1 here specifically for the Switch version so I thought I would give it a try... (It's £29.99)

I ended up getting 10% off eShop credit via Target and using that to go ahead and buy a set of vouchers that'll ultimately go to Another Code and probably Thousand-Year Door, assuming they don't release anything else I'm interested in before the latter.

@NinjaNicky Glad you like it. I'm aware the other versions are better graphically but with the reduced price and the fact it got 8/10 on here I decided to give it a go.
My copy is in the black Friday post so it's not expected till Monday currently so I'm afraid I'm not sure about the online issue.
However, doesn't EA require you to create your own account with them to play their games online... 🤔

Might try to grab Shinging Pearl tbh. Have always wanted to play it but felt 60 was too high an ask.

@Jaceofbass64 I picked up Shining Pearl for $30 last year in order to have at least one version of every game, but now I can't find Brilliant Diamond for $30 (just missed GameStop's deal by a few hours).

I'm actually regretting this, because the version I played as a kid was Diamond, and as silly as it sounds I just can't get excited about playing through Pearl when the nostalgia is wanting me to play Diamond instead.
