Very cool. Something like this in addition to the possibility to add quick links on the main screen would be great.

Dear GOD do I want all of those games on my Wii U VC right now... Also this interface is pretty sweet, I would rather enjoy it.

I'd love this type of interface, would make the VC much more personal than a simple menu.

That is pretty cool and beats the boring interface they use now.

As interesting as this is, don't hold your breath.

Completely pointless and not worth anyone's time in making. That's my 2 cents.

It's not gonna happen, but I would love to see something like that. I never understood why Nintendo didn't at least use manual scans for the VC games. It would seem easier to do than make a brand new digital manual. Sony does it for their PSone and PS2 Classics. Some weird rights issue maybe?

I'm sure a lot of the manuals have been updated and had translation errors fixed. And even if a manual didn't need updating, it would be weird to see scans for some games' manuals and not have scans for others.

Probably one reason is because the Wii had a 40MB filesize limit. Manual scans, especially if they were high quality, could reach that.

Well, they would probably still censor the Kid Icarus one...

Is it possible at all to use the gamepad with games you transferred to the Wii U or not?

Not until updated Wii U versions are release, which it seems will be coming regularly starting next week.

As far as the OP goes, I would love to see some sort of dedicated and stylish, quick-launching app for the Virtual Console, where you could organize your collection by any number of things - system, release date, publisher, franchise, alphabetically, or "Custom". That would probably be my most used icon. All downloaded titles from the eShop would go there immediately, and you can browse and buy from the VC from the app with the tap of a button.

True. This looks nice but my god this is never going to happen. We're talking about a Nintendo that haven't added in the GBC palettes for GB games - do you really think they would put that much effort into the menu for selecting a VC game?

I make Pixel Art on occasion.

Nintendo should hire the owner of that Youtube video.
