They could remake that kid from StarTropics, and add him. It could give the StarTropics series a chance to be revived, and if not, he would just be cool inclusion.
We like Mike! I would like to play as Mike (the StarTropics kid), too.

Miis (if they include mii's in the next nintendo console that this game will inevitably be on) Starfy Vaati Meowth One of the main characters from either of the sin and punishment games (don't remember the names!) Krsytal Mega Man Waluigi Tom Nook Tingle King K. Rool A second pokemon trainer with a different starter selection Toad Andy (Advance Wars) Mike (StarTropics) Dark Samus Bomberman Returning: Mewtwo, Dr Mario, Roy (and everyone in Brawl, of course)
I think this list is generally realistic, since it doesn't have a bunch of third party characters that've had one (or zero) games on a nintendo console. Sorry if this post was too long!

Definitely Mega-man!!!! I mean, why wasn't he on it already? Imagine how his final smash would look like- a huge cannon beam from his arm--- I want to see that ! Include: Phoenix Wright, Mega-Man, Toad, Hammer Bro(s), Mii, Peppy or Slippy (Mainly Slippy so I can destroy him!), Toon Zelda/Sheik or Tetra, Waluigi, any of the Koopa Kids, the 3 germs from Dr. Mario and finally Chuck Norris. Remove: Ike and Meta Knight. Seriously you can never defeat those two! Bring back: Dr. Mario and Roy.
