how about explaining what this "G4" thing is, and why it was enjoyable in the first place? This thread makes absolutely no sense here.

I like X-Play, I somewhat enjoy Attack of the Show, and Ninja Warrior is decent. Everything else is crap. They are just trying to save money by airing old shows every other half hour.

I started watching G4 when I first saw Extended Play (which is now X-Play) on what was then TechTV and I was interested, now the merger with G4 was a great one, a plethora of great gaming shows (Filter gave me my first glimpse of the DS and PSP, Cheat! was great, the others were fine) then when G4 got a major overhaul, I was like WTF? No gaming? I like*d* Attack of the Show but now they focus too much on humor and not the tech stuff we came to see. X-Play has some decent reviews but about 99.9% of the time, they are biased beyond belief. Ninja Warrrior and Unbeatable Banzuke were good Japanese shows I liked, and they were the only non-G4 shows I watched. Tired of Cops, Cheaters. F'in tired of Movies That Don't Suck because it always does re0runs and I watched the goddang movie already! So when AOTS got stripped of its part-gaming news source, and X-Play had it, it was great but 30 minutes? They only had some 1 hour episodes... and their content was fair but reviews..... no, no, no.

G4 tanked because it wanted to be like Spike. I don't watch 2M2MM (whatever the hell that is) or Human Wrecking Balls (watched it once and it's just a show where guys break stuff because they can). Code Monkeys was a type of show that deserved more air-time because it had an 8-bit video gamey look with a nice pitch of adult situations.

Now on my cable package here in Jamaica, I don't have it and frankly I'm glad because the Internet gives me more comprehensive info on games and tech than what G4 can provide.

He still didn't have a right to cancel that show and replace it with new boring crap like "Web Soup", "2 Months, $2 Million", and "The International Sexy Ladies Show". That guy really is a d-bag!

G4 really needs to re-innovate itself. I mean look at G4 Canada, it's better than G4 US!

Attack of the Show is a bunch of nothing. That girl on there just gets on my nerves anymore. She's a joke.

Xplay is good, but it gets on my nerves when they leave the wii out. They seem to be catering the "hardcore" gamers most of the time, and treat the wii gamers like trash. They give good wii games bad scores, and hype any xbox or ps3 game with explosions n' guns way to much. But that's my opinion.

That's Olivia Munn and I don't care for her either. The old X-play used to focus on PS2, XBoX, and Gamecube equally but now its so focused on X360 that they hardly ever talk about anything Nintendo anymore. Pretty much leaves no reason for me to watch it as I could care less about Gears of War tips and strategies

Agreed. G4 sucks now. Cheaters? Seriously? WTF! Ninja Warrior is broing after 2 mins, cops is a good show but they play it to death and its on the wrong channel. I mnot a huge fan of X-play mostly becasue of Adam, he mumbles everything he says. That is not a good show host. Morgan Web is sooo hot though. Attack of the Show is ok i mean they spend sometime talkng about video games but alot of it is just garbage. The rest is just heros and lost reruns which is dumb. As far is SPike TV suing them, that is the dumbest thing i ever heard. There are no copyrights on what type of channel you have. lol

The Day Morgan Webb stop being an "Anti-Nintendo" and bring back G4 Icon/Game Makers then i might consider watching at least one program, Adam Sessler is cool do i'l admit that part.

I do have to agree with Cops being played too much. I don't even watch that show. It's hardly even focused on electronics anymore too, just this other crap. I mean come on, that's the reason the channel was started anyways, now it just sucks. I need to watch a recent episode of XPlay though, haven't seen an episode since the Wii launch.

You should really watch some of her reviews than. She isn't anti-Nintendo at all. She is the one who reviewed Twilight Princess, and it got a 5/5. I'm sure there are more she has reviewed, I haven't been up to date with my G4 reviews for a long time.

tech tv was pretty good. never was into g4. tv about gaming never particularly interested me.
