I choose not to conform to popular opinion by saying, "No! No Giant World for you!". Why? For absolutely no reason whatsoever.

Giant world, I forgot about that, it should come back.

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

Giant world is generic.....one world in one game is enough...

Adam Cartwright: Education is progress! Now what have you got against it?
Ben Cartwright: I don't have anything against education - as long as it doesn't interfere with your thinking!

While is looks fun, in Canada, I just can't justify getting an upgraded DS game with multiplayer for 59.99 plus tax.

And that...is why you fail Hardy83

Also - most Marios do have pipe level varients, and giant world is 'typical' mario level except it is....wait for it....4x as big.

So once again the solutions look for problems.....

Here's the way I see it: we're getting the first 2-D Mario game on a home console since the SNES. Mario is the greatest platforming franchise out there. How could this game NOT be amazing?

NSMB wasn't great, so the sequel following suit isn't unlikely.

First, and this is all confirmed in AU's OMN. All the characters have brand new sprites and animations. Yoshi can swallow red shells to crate one large fireball, swallow a piranha plants fireball and spit it back out, and the same with a Hammer bros hammer.

While the DS version of NSMB felt almost like a sort of modern verison of Super Mario Bros 3, this Wii sequal gives us more of a Super Mario World Vibe

Also, in one of the preview screenshots, there is a flag in a sort of Chocolate Island type location. Can't remember f that was present in the DS.

Also, two Koopa kids are in the first world, Iggy and then Morton Koopa jr.

Also, even though in Multiplayer you cannot control your bubble, it does pop itself if your buddies aren't kind enough to pop it for you.

The red ring and fireworks return from the DS version.

Thats all from me.

I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

I'd like to see a 2D world that is similar to Tick Tock Clock.

That would be awesome!!

Ah come on, they'll have some surprises for us in the later levels. Won't they?!

There weren't any surprises in the DS version so I wouldn't get hopes up too high. That said it was still great fun, I'm sure this will be too, hopefully it will also be a little longer and more challenging.

Why thank you, although I dunno how far I'd get with only things that are funny because they're true.

I know that NSMB Wii is a brand new game and not a remake of the DS version but anyone else here thinks that the levels and worlds look identical to the DS version with maybe pipes and platforms rearranged? I mean, the screenshots show a desert world, a sky world, a snow world, an underground and underwater level and an identical mid-boss battle room to the DS version and I don't see any brand new worlds it just looks like they take the DS version and rearranged everything to make it look like a new game. What do you all think?

Erm... Those are the same kinds of worlds that have been in every single Mario game since the dawn of time. And you're complaining about them now?

As long as the levels themselves are different enough from the DS version I won't complain.
...But even if they aren't, I still won't complain and buy it anyway, since I'm a gullible fanboy that will buy anything with Mario in it.
