Topic: Most epic video game moment

I've got some:

The Ending to Super Mario RPG. The wishes everyone gets at the end makes you feel happy. Although I felt sorry for that pirate guy that gives Mario the fifth star piece, he waits for Mario's return at the cliff where you fought Yardivich in Seaside Town.

Going through the Twilight Trail in Chapter 4 in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and walking around the Creepy Steeple to reach Doopliss. Also The Awakening of the Shadow Queen who covers the entire world in darkness. Also the ending was pretty bittersweet for a Mario game.

In Super Paper Mario when the whole Summer Kingdom world is swallowed up by Count Bleck's void and is left with a white blank empty backgroundless dimension.

Climbing the tower to reach Gannondorf in Ocarina of Time, the organ still gives me the creeps 10 years later.

There are also at least 5 moments in Majora's Mask that both creep me out and make me feel sorry for a character:

The Moon destroying Ternima if Link fails to use the Ocarina of Time to return to Day 1.

The Aliens taking the cows and that little girl (the one that is resembles Malon from OOT).

Using the song of healing to free that possessed guy in Ikana Valley and his little daughter comes in and starts crying, who could not feel the emotional pain for that little girl.

That Goron guy's death in Snowhead.

That Zora guy's death in Great Bay.

Shadow's brief death at the end of Sonic Adventure 2. Yes, I know he was saved by one of Eggman's robots in Sonic Heroes and plays a very important role in Shadow The Hedgehog but I just thought that final scene was pretty sad and the music was very moving too.

Ocarina of Time's ending.

Wind Waker's ending.

The ending to Twilight Princess (I didn't beat the game but I heard that Link destroys the mirror to the Twilight Realm and never sees Midna again).

The PC game Carmaggedon II. Just, all of it. It's heavily flawed, incredibly tasteless, but intensely hilarious throughout. Especially if you start screwing around with the game variables (which are all completely unencrypted .txt files).

The end of the planet Virimire in Mass effect. That fist epic fight with saren and then having to leave one of your sqaudmates on the planet to set off the nuke was pretty awsome.

Most of the assassianations in Assassians Creed were pretty epic.

Twilight Princess when Midna turns into a giant monster octopus thing.

@Trevor_Fox.... I forgot about the Ridley fight that was pretty cool.....

I think the ending of Halo 2 lands up there the biggest WTH is thats suppose to mean after a Stellar Game.

Yeah, same here about forgetting about Ridley in Corruption, loved that fight.

What happens after the clock runs out in Majora's Mask

Also enjoyed fighting Stallord in Twilight Princess...

There's some moments in DKC2 that were epic. The bramble blast level's music gave me goosebumps the first time I heard it. The honeyhive level was also quite cool.

Toad's Mario Kart 64 squeal

the most epic moment for me has to be the end of "the storm" in halo 3.just seeing all those longswords fly overhead is amazing.most emotional moment is the end of call of duty 4 at the bridge.it actually made me cry lol

Epic, awesome, same thing.

My most epic video game moment is easily in Shadow of the Colossus when the first colossus appeared... Only to be eclipsed by the second colossus... But then came the third colossus... I think you get my point here.... That entire game, it's the definition of epic... It's like someone took the meaning of the word epic and compressed it into a game...

Not exactly epic, but still one of my favourite moments in any video game (skip to 3:55).

Ocarina of Time, particularly the parts wherein Link pulls the Master Sword out of the pedestal, Sheik's secret is revealed and the fight at the very end with Ganon.

My god, that game is so freaking epic it blows my mind.

Taking down my first colossus in Shadow of the Colossus, the final Colossus, completing ICO, Ganondorf's final transformation in TP, Final battle in Wind Waker, taking down Sandman for the first time in Punchout!!(he kicked my a$$ so hard!), Vamp in MGS: Sons of Liberty (great villain), OKAMI (just okami, game is epicness in game form, lol). Wow this topic reminds me why I love gaming so much!

Super Smash bros brawl when Metta Knight's ship is destroyed. Also do sad moments count as well

The President grabbing Raiden's ballz...lol
The scene after the credits in MGS2. "What the hell..." It really made you want to play MGS3 as soon as possible.
Battleing The Metal Gear in...well,all of them!
The opening in all of the MGS games are always epic.

That's all I can think of now...maybe it's because I just played the demo of "Peace Walker". I'll post more later.

Well, the last time Paul Jackson pops up in Modern Warfare was one of the more shocking moments in recent gaming memory. I won't spoil it and say why since some Wii owners haven't played it (yet).
