Some Wal-Marts don't have the glass over their game displays anymore. My local Wally World doesn't, but the next-closest one to me still has glass in place.

Sorry to say dude, you are SOL. It was super limited and only way to get it was to get it was via pre-order or the first couple of days of it's release. But I am sure it will probably show up on eBay or GameStop as used.

The VC versions don't save, thus I can't go back to LL on VC.

This I will grant you, and it's probably my biggest reason for buying the game. BUT, the VC also supports suspend data, so it kind of balances out.

Every Gamestop in my area is sold out and wont be getting anymore at least thats what they all told my friend. However a few of the clerks did tell him to check back after Christmas and see if some people either returned the game like if they got two copies or as a trade in cause someone wasnt happy with the game.

Here in Finland I can find this game from every shop where I go. I dunno how long it lasts. Have to buy it when I have some money just went and bought some Points few days ago. And there's also another game that I should buy, Metroid Prime Trilogy, those games are also still in every shop

I checked a few Walmarts in my area and they said they were out but do have more on order. They said check back after christmas.

It's a shame I have a habit of turning off the Wii when I am done instead of going to the home menu...

I just checked amazon's pricing out of curiosity and was astonished to find the collection selling for $75.99. I knew that its value was going to increase with it being limited and what not, but that price just seems ridiculous. I'm glad I had this preordered.

My sister got a copy for Christmas actually. She loves it, surprisingly.

Thankfully I found It when I was going to get DKCR It was weird they had a ton of SMAS but no more DKCR

ANYWAYYYY, yeah, these things went darn fast. Like a lot of these people said, you're going to want to get it online. I've noticed that everything related to Mario's 25th anniversary went fast.

@NintyFan: that's because the EU version was 50hz, same as when the game was first released for SNES. EU Nintendo fans today demand better than that now, and rightfully so IMO.

I got my copy for Christmas from my brother, explained to him that we could probably find the NTSC SNES version way cheaper, and then sold it for as much as he paid for it (plus postage). I'll probably regret it someday.

... and the Christmas Spirit shines through once more. i can't believe you actually had the stones to tell your own brother to his face that he could've found his chosen xmas gift for you in a different form for cheaper. wow.
