Not a game I would pay for but hey I got it for free. Not a bad game by any means. Just not one I am that interested in playing for long periods of time.

I played head to head with a friend and we had a blast. He's not a fan of rhythm games at all, but we were still having a good time!
...Still having a hard time with the calibration, but oh well...

I'm working on a game that's coming out soon!

Hmm... I agree that I wouldn't play for long periods of time, but this is a game I would play for many short sessions. I've already spent 3 hours playing (broken up into small sessions) and suspect it'll get a lot more play. My scores are still improving almost every time I sit down for a groovin' session!

So what kind of ratings will you guys give this game in the Nintendo Channel recommendation section? And has anyone spent much time with two-player mode?

Got my copy. Love a good amount of the music.

The game's issue is that it is very hard to keep track of staying alive (actually playing the game) and hitting the beats (to get scores to continue further). This is true especially when the songs seem to throw in beats that are not necessarily the ones the game wants you to hit.

Fun and a little frustrating. Puzzle game to a T.

Fun game. Aligning the different blocks and keeping the beat at the same time can be really challenging, especially on the harder difficulties where the blocks come in different shapes and more thought is required to rearrange them. Right now, I'm having trouble stringing together multiple beats but hopefully as I play more and learn the songs I'll get better.

This game is fun and addictive I have 27 stars on casual and experienced I heard if you get all the stars there's a Legend difficulty might be the retail version not sure. Haven't had a chance to go head to head because I let a friend borrow my only other wii mote, but me and my friend took turns beating eachothers highscores and had a blast. Man wish this game had online or some download content. Suggestion to empty clip, they should remake the retail version as a download title or have it as extra content because since it's a budget title its hard to find and I just don't see too many people buying a disc version of this game as fun as it is this is meant to be a download title it would just get lost in the shuffle with a bunch of shovel ware

The retail game is readily available at the U.S. Amazon.com store. Not sure about their other stores.

Has anyone been able to get all of the stars on each of the three difficulty level? Has anyone found out if there are any secret unlockables for doing so?

I'm close right now -- only three stars short! The song NGC 604 is destroying me, and I can't seem to rack up a good multiplier to get all the stars for this song on higher difficulty levels.

Very true. I see it in a bargain bin along with crappy titles such as M&M Kart Racing and I'm thinking: "Wow. No one's gonna give this game a chance."

Ironically enough, not many gave it a chance on WiiWare to begin with, commenting that it was garbage without even trying it.

This is why I love digging for bargain games on Wii though -- the majority are crap, but there are often some hidden gems available if you do your research first. Finding stuff like Broken Sword, Groovin Blocks, and Geometry Wars for $10 apiece in bargain bins makes my day.

Anyway, still hoping to finish this game off in the near future. If anyone has tips about the NGC song, I'm more than willing to listen...

Finally got all 27 stars on the three regular difficulty levels. Legend difficulty level confirmed for the WiiWare version.

Be prepared if you are trying to get through Legend difficulty though: the jump in scores required is huge! They start out at 120,000 for a single star and move up from there. Speed of play is also increased quite a bit, but that's probably not going to be an issue since you'll need to drop pieces non-stop to reach 3-star rankings.

The thing I hate about Legendary is the blocks clear too slowly compared with how fast they come down, and you end up dying in instances where you would have survived if they would have cleared instantaneously. As it was, I was happy just to survive through a song, never mind worrying about earning more than 1 star. I also wish they would let you count your score for a game whether or not you make it through a song, because it's too easy to misdrop pieces with the D-pad on the Wiimote and CC being so horrible for registering diagonals by mistake, and you can end up killing yourself because of it. I gave up playing this game till I got my TvC Arcade Stick and was able to 4-way it, and I'm not too sure how much success I would have had without it.

I just got my copy (from the contest) a few days ago! I got the confirmation e-mail and registered their Wii FC number, but when I didn't get the game after 2-3 weeks, I e-mailed them about it. Nothing. 2 more weeks. Nothing. Another e-mail. Nothing. 2 more weeks. Nothing. Finally, after 11 combined Wii messages/e-mails, I had just about given up when, I FINALLY GOT IT!
Now, for the impressions. The gameplay is fun, the graphics are nice, and I love the idea of integrating music with the gameplay. My favorite songs are 'I love my C-64' and 'Sunglasses'.

Bought this way before the give-away. Even bought the disc version before the give-away.
Great, solid game concept with really fantastic music.

Wish we could get a progress update on Symphony....
