Haha, coincidentally in the third part of The Last Story's Iwata Asks Sakaguchi mentions that(more like alludes to) they use HDR lighting in the game... so I guess maybe the Wii is capable of it.

you can also have 3 guns equipped at any time in single player, not the expected 2, since the p99 is a permanent weapon. that makes me feel much better about the loadout setup, for single player at least.

Looks fantastic. The graphics still have the same polished look and whilst it certainly looks somewhat photorealistic I think it has something of a unique look, especially in regards to character models.

There's definite HDR lighting in the Hero mode video when he goes to the staircase. Game looks awesome, really nice look to it.

Yes it supports the Wii Remote and Nunchuck, silly It says this in about every hands on article out there. It's just that all the preview builds up until this month were all Classic Controller Pro-based only.

Okay thanks...though I am having a little trouble finding impressions of gameplay using the Wiimote and nunchuck. How was it (if you've played with them)?
IGN said the Wiimote and Nunchuk worked really well. They said both the classic and that work really well. And, you can use gamecube controller! (I just fixed my sticky t-wireless, so ill be using that sometimes.) It looks really good and I am definitely getting it. Pre-ordered! Election day and I'm not 18 yet. This is going to be sweet.
my expectations for the wiimote controls are very high, in fact i've got my fingers crossed that they'll be the best of the system. nintendo spent some time with eurocom getting the remote scheme right, so it's the first FPS since metroid corruption to have 1st party wiimote controls. the one thing that's puzzling me is the lack of a lock on, since most wii shooters have evolved with one to stabilize the camera. i'm slightly worried i'm going to feel lost without being able to freeze the screen in place, but i think the down sight aiming will compensate for that.

I don't think lock on is really necessary, and when you think about it there aren't any FPS on any console that allow you to freeze the screen in place while you aim around (except for some rail shooters).

My question is why Not Wii remote plus options!! I mean they did make the dumb thing for this type of game right!! Its just another thing Nintendo made that doesn't get proper support! Still this game is going to be huge just on name recognition alone!

No one knows obviously if it will be good or not but it will succeed just from fan boys alone! I for one will be playing this for months to come unless its completely broken and is no fun at all! I doubt it though since I'm sure Nintendo has a hand in making sure its a Hugh success! Piss some where else please!

I know quite a few people (mostly ones who hardly touch their Wiis) who have pre-ordered this and are waiting to be taken back to the good old days. I, however, think it's gonna suck. I hope I'm wrong
@NL: When can we expect a review? Pre-release? Please!
