I prefer the origional graphics.

does the Mario

eats Mario cereal with cut up bannana in it

Mario 2& 3 on VC looks better than Super Mario World on VC = my opinion

I still own this on my SNES, and have no incentive to buy it. Maybe if they updated the graphics to sort of a New Super Mario Bros. style I would be in.

Send me the best you've got. Send me your strongest machines. The fight my brother fought, here, now, will end with me.

Well, its up to you. But here's some more examples. Images taken from vgmaps.com

The SNES remakes don't capture the look, sound and magic of the NES originals...

I can't say I agree with you there. If anything, SMAS greatly enhances the look, sound and magic of the NES originals.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

If it was in widescreen and had further improved visuals (which it doesn't seem to be) then I might have picked it up. I might have also picked it up if it was on the DS and I definitely would have gotten it if it was on the 3DS (especially if it was in widescreen with 3D stuffs).

...but a 4:3 seemingly direct port of All Stars without Super Mario World? no thanks.

"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"

Bass_X0

Yeah, everyone should have Super Mario World on VC already. Thats probably why they neglected to include it.

I'm tempted to sell off my cartridges and get this.

I don't own All Stars, I use to hate how it looked. Then again I never really played it for long. However I really love that Bowser sprite and the game looks good now to me for some reason.

Is All Stars slower than the NES originals or was it just me thinking? Like as responsive as NES.

My favorite thing is that I'll be able to use the Wiimote on it's side, if it came out for VC I wouldn't be able to do that.

I forgot to mention, when you looks at Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, the game has what, nearly 50 games? Most are Genesis games ($8 on the Wii) and the game is $30.

$35 for 4 NES games is downright robbery, considering SUGC has extra features as well. Pffft, I'm even more glad I'm not getting this. But to each his own...

It's not 4 NES games, it''s 4 SNES games! the quality is much improved

It's 1 SNES game...

In addition, the package really is a rip-off in my opinion.
People demanded Super Mario All-Stars. Why are you happy with Nintendo releasing it on a disc instead of on Virtual Console, where it's supposed to be?
This is supposed to be the 25th birthday of the greatest gaming character of all time. What we are getting is just weak.
All-Stars is good, but what's the point of playing the games with 16-bit graphics and sound?
It's a completely different experience. I don't wanna relive the experience of Mario's 10th birthday or for whatever All-Stars was intended, I want something untouched and/or (something) new.
You also have to take into account that All-Stars doesn't even include a quarter of the main series' games. In what universe is 1 game going to represent a quarter century of an awesome game series?
With untouched I mean the original games, with original sound and original graphics.
I would have totally bought a package with Super Mario Bros. to Super Mario 64 (including Super Mario World 2 - Yoshi's Island) for € 40; for € 50 if it also included Super Mario Sunshine.

Dear Nintendo, I am disappointed. (this time I'm being serious, not "WHY'S TABUU IN SSBB YOU RUINED MY LIFE NINETEDNO"-like, a.k.a. sarcastic)

It dose look real Nice, but the Sound isn't all that Great........

I still don't know why Nintendo didn't just put this on VC. or at less remade then in "New Super Mario Bros. Wii" Style.

But yet again, this game is Top seller in Japan, and Nintendo is making alot of money off these re-hash games but, at less it comes in a nice box......

For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.

Because they make more money off a retail release. Don't think like a gamer, think like a businessman

I've decided I'm not going to buy this, because I still have my SNES cart. How many times are we supposed to buy the same games over again? You buy these games on the NES, then the SNES, then the GBC/GBA, then Wii VC, then this, then there'll no doubt be 3D Classic NES versions on the 3DS, then they'll release 3D All Stars after that, and how many more versions will there be? I'll save my money for the 3D versions, because at least then we'll be getting a new feature. The only interesting thing about this collection is the soundtrack, but I honestly don't think I'd listen to it, and it looks pretty meager anyway.
