this really sucks, but as long as they don't multi-platform Epic Mickey, Monster Hunter Tri, Fragile, and all the Nintendo ones, I think the wii will still kick ass this year.

Multi-platform probably won't be a big deal, but I don't see it being that popular on the other consoles, they already have L4D and LFD2. Although, I really like the style of this game.

Things Ive read on this just doesnt interest me. I doubt Ill be picking this one up for PS3, I think it would do better as a Wii exclusive to be honest.

Hmm... Now I`m curious, has Nintendo ever had a game released on a platform other than their own?

The main reason it sucks for a game like this to go multiplatform is that it does little to change the Wii's image. It will likely, and sadly, sell more on other systems and be completely dismissed by Wii owners. It would be cool for Wii to finally get a good shooter to call it's own as the market is already full of them on other consoles. At least you can't call it a gimped port as an excuse for not buying it.

Not that I know.. that's what I'm saying, that there will still be some solid exclusives (referring to Metroid, SMG2, Xenoblade...)

exactly. like there were talks that Mass Effect might get a PS3 port, and 360 fans didn't like it. Wii needs exclusives like the Grinder, I was really looking forward to it.

Yeah, and Mario was on the Atari, forgot about that.

Colecovision and Atari ports of Nintendo games weren't produced by Nintendo, though, they were licensed at a time when Nintendo wasn't doing anything on home console outside of their own dedicated pong/driving systems in Japan.
Despite that preview of Iron Man 2, it still sounds better than the game for the first film (though that's not saying much). Really everyone who does a film on a licensed property should try to copy The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction -- probably the best game based on a license I've ever played.
On-topic, I do hope this turns out well, but I'm concerned HVS is over-extending themselves. Since this is one of a couple of in-house projects it's probably going to get more focus than work-for-hire stuff like Iron Man 2/Astro Boy (anyone know how that game is?), but unless the PC/PS360 versions are all sharing code I'm not sure how they're going to pull this off and keep the quality high. This is potentially a make-or-break test of their abilities and I do hope they succeed.
ya ya...I'll get back to you in 2011 when the game is actually released. After The Conduit and the BS Hype train HVS braught on with their interviews I'm not that interested and the fact that it's a shooter. BUT it's horror themed, which i love. HVS obviously listens to the fans, since people complained how generic and boring the conduit was art direction wise ect...they clearly applied a new look to The grinder compared to how it looked before. the enemie art work and characters are much better that's for sure. since it's going multiplatform i'd rather get it on the PS3...Normally i'd get it on the Wii because of the Wii Remote controls(which were amazing in MP3, blows away every other control scheme period, talk about engaging, immersive, fun and fresh), but the Sony Wand will be in full force by 2011....plus with better visuals
Over a year away and it's being developed for other consoles makes this game very boring to look forward to. I thought the Wii actually had something special coming up FPS-wise and well, now it does not.
