I just like watching the trailers and game vids on the 3ds eshop, and i stumbled upon this game. I know i'd might not consider it as a first purchase if i ever buy the console, as i am a portable man. I just like to play portables.
This is actually looking really promising.
I love how they've used the Wii U GamePad and I like the whole concept of starting again with a new character each time you die.
I don't think I'll be very good at this, but if it turns out as well as it looks like it will I'm sure I'll have a blast with it anyway.
I actually like the use of the GamePad for the inventory, I think it's a great touch-and-go concept. Also for the door-hacking too, it makes it seem a bit more realistic - you're frantically tapping those buttons in to burst through the door while looking over your shoulder to see the zombies dauntingly approaching, and it's even quicker to be honest. I also love the motion controls too - at the end of the gameplay trailer, you can see the player whacking and stabbing the gory shizz out of that zombie with a pick-axe by imitating the movements with the controller. And not to mention just the general graphics and atmosphere of the game too - it seems like a stepped-up Resident Evil to me, while retaining all the survival-horror elements that RE seems to have lost in this age.
Bottom line, I'll fling my money at the Wii U just to buy Zombi U any day. Let's just hope I can survive the apocalypse.
As of right now, this is the game I am looking forward to the most on the Wii U. I hope its out at launch.
It appears that it should be out at launch.
And what a perfect game to pick up with the system.
Ubisoft seem to have done a great job of incorporating the Wii U GamePad and the game in general just looks like it'll be a lot of fun.
I'm hearing good things and it looks good, so this is definitely on my list of games to buy at the moment.
To be honest, the only Wii U game I'm looking forward to more is Pikmin 3.

I'm looking forward to Pikmin 3 the most too but that won't be out on launch day, it's listed as launch window unfortunately.
Thank god these zombies don't run. Walkers are always scarier since they remind me more of death. Running fast is way too energetic. I also like the name ZombiU, because it really makes sense: If you die in the game, U turn to zombie.
The E3 trailer reminded of Dead Space since the theme was something not associated with such darkness, so it was really cool. Biggest surprise out of Ubisoft's games for Nintendo.
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
I so hope it has pointer controls. It would be such a step back to exclude them. I'm also afraid this'll end up like Red Steel
There will be some pointer controls with the Gamepad, but I am not sure if for shooting. Interestingly (and really cool), Pikmin 3 has a Remote & Nunchuk setup so this might become a norm for FPS's to have both control schemes.
I heard that it wasn't 100% confirmed to be exclusive in some interview with a guy demoing Rayman Legends- just "for now at E3"...
Yeah but Ubisoft always talks this way. They said the same about Red Steel. I doubt it'll go multiplatform when such a large part is based on the GamePad. It could be gimped downgraded versions along the way.

I don't know, SmartGlass and Playstation Mobile seem like they could handle the gameplay needed for Rayman Legends...
