I read IGN's preview and it sounds like one of the most creative Wii U games so far, surprisingly. I won't buy it since I don't enjoy gory horror games, but it has some pretty cool ideas and mechanics.

I made Kid Tripp! PocketGamer gave it a 9 out of 10! You should totally buy it now!

I just like watching the trailers and game vids on the 3ds eshop, and i stumbled upon this game. I know i'd might not consider it as a first purchase if i ever buy the console, as i am a portable man. I just like to play portables.

This is actually looking really promising.
I love how they've used the Wii U GamePad and I like the whole concept of starting again with a new character each time you die.
I don't think I'll be very good at this, but if it turns out as well as it looks like it will I'm sure I'll have a blast with it anyway.

I actually like the use of the GamePad for the inventory, I think it's a great touch-and-go concept. Also for the door-hacking too, it makes it seem a bit more realistic - you're frantically tapping those buttons in to burst through the door while looking over your shoulder to see the zombies dauntingly approaching, and it's even quicker to be honest. I also love the motion controls too - at the end of the gameplay trailer, you can see the player whacking and stabbing the gory shizz out of that zombie with a pick-axe by imitating the movements with the controller. And not to mention just the general graphics and atmosphere of the game too - it seems like a stepped-up Resident Evil to me, while retaining all the survival-horror elements that RE seems to have lost in this age.

Bottom line, I'll fling my money at the Wii U just to buy Zombi U any day. Let's just hope I can survive the apocalypse.

Let us not judge a man by the colour of his skin, but by the character he chooses to battle with in Brawl.

To blessed to be stressed.
I miss Japanese games, the good stuff... Games that are imaginative, have good and unique gameplay, a great soundtrack, and replay value.

It appears that it should be out at launch.
And what a perfect game to pick up with the system.
Ubisoft seem to have done a great job of incorporating the Wii U GamePad and the game in general just looks like it'll be a lot of fun.
I'm hearing good things and it looks good, so this is definitely on my list of games to buy at the moment.
To be honest, the only Wii U game I'm looking forward to more is Pikmin 3.

I'm looking forward to Pikmin 3 the most too but that won't be out on launch day, it's listed as launch window unfortunately.

Tons of gameplay and details here:

Looks terrifying to me. But I'm easy to scare with this sort of game.

You know what? I've been complaining about the complete lack of Pointer controls being an alternate control scheme...But funk it, i'm getting it anyways. :p
The Pick Axe(aside from obviously aiming with a gun) would still work better with Wii remote plus since it would replicate the weapon perfectly instead of a big fat square-game pad. Should still be more satisfying, fun, immersive and intuitive to pull off though instead of pressing a boring button.

But eh, I'll deal...I'm a horror movie Zombie freakazoid(The oldschool stuff that is like George A Romero's Night, Dawn, Day of the dead, return of the living dead 1 & 2, Lucio Fulci's Zombi 2 ect ect) and an Resident Evil nut case, so regardless of taking a giant leap backwards by not using the wii remote for pointer controls i'll still get it.

I normally don't bother with westernized zombie titles or even Capcom's Dead rising series(Yawn....mindless hack and slash carnage)
but a first person survival horror with the Wii U Game Pad AND the unique elements like dieing and having to play as a different survivor where you then can back track to take your previous characters weapons 'while' discovering him as a zombie are great ideas. plus U(hehe) can be a zombie in the game all thanks to the Wii U Gamepad's camera/screen. :D

Plus those zombies have some creeptastic animations, especially that limping zombie walking towards you in the E3 trailer while you're trying to type in the Password keys on the Wii U Gamepad's screen. better than the stuff seen in Resident evil.

Thank god these zombies don't run. Walkers are always scarier since they remind me more of death. Running fast is way too energetic. I also like the name ZombiU, because it really makes sense: If you die in the game, U turn to zombie.

The E3 trailer reminded of Dead Space since the theme was something not associated with such darkness, so it was really cool. Biggest surprise out of Ubisoft's games for Nintendo.

I so hope it has pointer controls. It would be such a step back to exclude them. I'm also afraid this'll end up like Red Steel

Ubisoft really likes Nintendo. I mean, 8 games already, plus Rayman Legends is exclusive.

I heard that it wasn't 100% confirmed to be exclusive in some interview with a guy demoing Rayman Legends- just "for now at E3"...

There will be some pointer controls with the Gamepad, but I am not sure if for shooting. Interestingly (and really cool), Pikmin 3 has a Remote & Nunchuk setup so this might become a norm for FPS's to have both control schemes.
