I know this was over the net a couple of months ago(launch list),but the possibilities for this is endless with the Wii u pad and may get a big following of pc players cross over.Im hoping Activision may say something before E3 if true,if not save it for E3.i think using wii u pad and wii mote and nun-chuck would work pretty well for this game.
The original rumor comes from Dual Pixels, who is all run by kids whose uncles work for Nintendo. =P
As for my opinion on whether the rumor is true?...I guess, maybe? While Nintendo has said that they are trying to work with developers on a more open online system, I don't see Blizzard caring enough to put time and effort into porting it over to the Wii U. However, considering that Activision sort-of has its hand in the WOW pie, I wouldn't be surprised if they outsourced building a Wii U version of WOW to a different developer.

WoW isn't the kind of game Nintendo would like to have on their platform, IMO. Talking about mmos, there was also a rumour about LucasArts making one for Wii U, to be announced this year on E3.
Dual Pixels looks like complete trash... they even have games from Valve on that there list. I highly doubt that will be happening...
Also A source close to Dual Pixels that has insider knowledge of Nintendo I'm calling bull on that website.
Dual pixel are close freinds to ninty so it is said? But isnt counter strike coming to 360/ps3 and until wii u has been shown at E3 alot more multiplatform games will come out of the wood work.monster hunter is classed as mmo and isnt their a lego city game also,Nintendo are focusing on gamers this time as causuals are unreliable in these finacial times.
[quote=11376]I'd bet a lot of money that this doesn't happen, but if they did it would sell alot of wii u's and if true i wanna play as mario with his animal freind yoshi
It would have to have cross-platform play to really boost console sales, which is probably the biggest thorn in the side of this already shaky-at-best rumour.
Not happening. Why would Nintendo go and screw up the relationship they have with Square snider by not letting the nintendo exclusive ammo be first for a while.
WAT!

Wont ever happen. For one thing you need a mouse and keyboard for an MMO like WoW. No way would a raid group deal with some guy using a touch screen controller. You have to be precise on what attacks to do when, when to hit that heal button, when not hit that attack button to pull the enemy from the tank. That sort of thing. A touch screen just doesnt do that.
Now Diablo III on the other hand I can see being ported to the Wii U or a Sony or Microsoft system. But WoW not going to happen.
And BTW Activision wouldnt say anything about WoW before, during or ever at E3, thats Blizzard. Yes they are part of the same company but Activison handles Activison stuff (COD Skylanders etc) and Blizzard handles Blizzard stuff (WoW, Diablo Starcraft).

If this is true, it has the potential to change the gaming world. WOW is the mostly widely played game on the planet, bar none. If Nintendo actually works something out with Blizzard and makes this happen it could really help the WII U's stock. I mean flocks of gamers would be running to buy the console at launch solely for WOW, which would then probably cause them to get into console systems then in which they would purchase more games. All i am saying is if i were nintendo i would attempt to make this a nintendo exclusive game. The audience this could bring would be epic.
