I hate EA but you have to keep in mind the good games EA had published in the past, those are what i'll be glad to have. For example: Brutal Legend, and Alice Madness Returns. Also for others who actually do enjoy games EA makes they are able to play them without having to buy another console.
Alice Madness Returns is one of the best platformers in the last several years.
EA was probably just trying to psych everyone out. I knew they'de make games for Wii U, and who knows, maybe they started development today on the Wii U version, hence the announcement I'm actually interested in Madden with the GamePad. Drawing plays sounds great(which is already in 13) and 6 player local player seems likely for a game like this eventually. Maybe even wireless LAN for local for 12 players... and 3DS crossplay, too, for more players.
I just don't want to buy crappy games, but if EA starts making good games, then I don't see why I wouldn't buy them.

Is it just me, or does this sound like Jorgensen is reaffirming the 'Wii-U is crap' in the nicest possible way?
Jorgensen also said, "You know, I think Nintendo's business was more [an] extension of their last console." He also commented, "I think what the consumer will find is a lot more powerful gameplay with the new boxes that are coming out, and a lot of excitement, but it'll remain to be seen as to the services associated with those as to how consumers decide which direction they might want to go
I believe it's a pretty realistic assessment. After all Wii U is undoubtedly a continuation of the Wii brand, incorporating every one of its predecessor's selling points (still can't believe there's no motion+ in the premium pack); as for the technical gap between it and PS4/720..there's no denying it's substantial. Not too sure what he means with "powerful gameplay" though.
And this big old sphere in space keeps spinning...

Nintendo shouldn't even allow EA to make games after all that trash talking they made on then. Because if Nintendo was my company i wouldn't even allow it...just saying

That would be a bad decision on Nintendo's part. EA was not trash talking the Wii U, the company is just playing it safe with its big budget franchises and explaining why.

Yeah, we all know that EA screwed up (royally), but sometimes people can have a second chance.
