So the card game and a new fighting game are both not coming to the Wii U, the Pokemon company really aren't backing Ninty.
The Card game I find a bit surprising especially with Nintendo doing more free to play games. But the card game sort of sucks so I would want something more high quality and stand alone for a console/handled TCG.
Plus the trademarks were for Wii U I believe.

Its coming to Wii U. Typically in japan fighting games do a first run in arcade before being announced for console. Tekken 7 was only announced for Arcade only when it was revealed eariler this year, but than the PS4/Xbox One SKUs were announced shortly afterward.

The online Pokémon TCG has existed for several years now. Before only available on pc/windows, making it available on iOS is actually a very logical step.
A wii u release is highly likely, so if I were you guys I would probably get a few fightsticks before they go up in price the ones I recommend are the Tatsunoko vs capcom stick(if your willing to mod it sanwa parts fit pretty much perfectly but the buttons need a little force to seat properly) and the tekken tag 2 TES stick. I have a feeling madcatz will probably make a stick but it may sell out fast.

I've never been happier to had been wrong, very excited for this! My guess is they're going to wait till the smash hype dies down a bit to announce a Wii U version! Any Character predictions? My guess is mewtwo is in but I'm hoping personally for keldeo

Hitmontop, Infernape, Heracross and Poliwarth spring to mind.
I'm hope this comes to an Wii U in United States, Because buying Japanese Arcades Cabs costs like $4000. I don't even have that money. (Yet, I don't have a Job either. I guess i'll have to be poor for an 2 more years to atleast get an Job.) It looks interesting though.
It's definitely coming to NA & EU, there'd be no reason for The Pokémon Company to register the brands Pokkén Fighters & Pokkén Tournament in those regions if not.
