This video looks hacked. Battlefield can't be played during the winter. And no, Pit should not be banned.

I still think its BS. I dont care who you are Meta knight is not that good. I can beat anyones meta knight with any character especially the bottom tier characters

The video LJM just put out shows how tiers can't be taken seriously... Or be a source of who's better. A good Jigglypuff can beat down a good Snake, just as a good Ness can smack down a good Metaknight.

Unlike most competetive players, I'm one who don't really play the game with a "plan". My play style adjusts under circumstances. You know, how people do the "Wash, Rinse, Repeat" maneuver in this game? Well, with me, that doesn't work

Tiers aren't an end-all "You play this character, you win" kind of deal. Obviously, a bad player using Meta Knight will still lose to a good player with Ganondorf, as player skill is what matters most, but tier lists are valid in what they argue for. A good example of tier lists would be Pokemon tier lists. Mewtwo being top, Gyarados a bit lower and Ditto rather low down. Mewtwo is in a higher position because if two players of equal skill were to repeatedly battle using only a Capped Mewtwo and a Capped DItto, Mewtwo would consistently come out the victor. Obviously, for action games it's far more debatable as there are many more factors to consider, but tier lists are still valid indicators of which characters are generally better than others, and as far as Smash goes, SBR's tier lists are extremely dead on.

Who Cares. If your biggest problem is how power the characters than you need to get out more and stop playing games. As long as items are apart of the game and stages are crazy than The Competitiveness of the game is kinda moot. Its not like SF or KOF where the game is developed with this stuff in mind. Becuase in all honestly the only way to balance the game is.

Maybe it's not fun to you, who says it's not to other people? I for one enjoy grinding all day in RPGs, I'm sure a lot of people don't find that too fun. Funness is relative

At the end of the day- I don't care about the tier list. I haven't looked at it in 2 or 3 years and I still play Smash Bros. competitively (but mostly for fun, not tournament-wise). To me, the tier list is a joke if you want to base things on that. Good for you. I'll play my Yoshi, Kirby, Ness, Peach, Jigglypuff, Pikachu, PT, Zelda, Wario, Olimar, Ice Climber, Sonic and have fun

Funny story: I was playing someone in my state online, and this person used to play as Kirby, Jigglypuff and Marth mostly. A year later, all of sudden, the person did a 180 and now uses Metaknight and Marth only. What's worse, his personality changed completely. I beat his Metaknight with my Ness, and then he starts blaming it on the stage, saying my Ness isn't good (I almost had a laughter attack hearing that rubbish, and soon after his criticisms which is useless to me- sorry). So, he picked the bland stage that is Smashville, and at that point, I just didn't try anymore. He won, and then he starts gloating (mind you, his Metaknight isn't impressive to me because I've played an MK like that plenty of times...)

Find it pretty troubling how people change like that... And the fact he's so far up his ***, it's crazy. Sad we aren't friends anymore. Then again, it's whatever to me. If you take the game too seriously, start disrespecting for no good cause, you're cut. And this isn't the only time where I beat someone's MK with my Ness and they had an overreaction to the situation.

The game has options; it is meant to be played however you want.

General comments: Tiers reflect which characters are best with people who play in national tournaments. Your mileage can and will vary. It can't be wrong based on anyone's experience here because it has nothing to do with your personal experience. I just wanted to show what people who are good at the game think of Pit. You can beat all the Metaknights you know; you haven't beaten any of these.

Pit is just a middle-of-the-road character. Not great, but not bad either. He's completely outclassed by Metaknight, who has a similar playstyle yet is better in almost every way. Pit will never be banned in a tournament setting.

And you can't arc light arrows over the edge of the screen like that.
