you know how last week the Xbox One was announced at E3 for an update for cretin Xbox 360 games to be comparability on Xbox One, what you think? should Nintendo (i doubt it) do same for Gamecube to be backwards comparability, better yet it would also be cool for Gamecube games to be VC at the same time.

It would be very nice to see this. However, I doubt this would make much of a difference to Wii U sales now, so I don't think it'll be worth it for Nintendo to do this.
This would be an awesome feature to have when the NX is launced, and might encourage some people to pick up an NX, so I'd think it'll be better for Nintendo to add the feature then.
too late for such tactics, if it was near WiiU launch it could even work slightly, now it will be pointless, everyone that likes Nintendo, has a WiiU and had a GC(me included) will be delighted but it won't help the WiiU selling more and it will be wasted resource(maybe even worse, they could have those funny ideas of focusing 99% on casual gaming again)

The way Microsoft implements bavkwards-compability is questionable, at best. The XBone cannot play X360 games natively, so it just checks the disc for the game ID and downloads a repackaged version of the game. But it's extremely doubtful that Microsoft would add every possible X360 game to the library, which means that customers are at their mercy for this.
As for WiiU: @Link-Hero explained why it wouldn't work. Additionally, it's not gonna matter much for sales figures. Since WiiU had no initial GCN-compability, people who wanted to continue playing GameCube games just kept their GCN/Wii for that, and since both consoles are way cheaper, only a very small group of people will see late backwards-compability as a reason to buy a WiiU.
Wii U can not physically accept gamecube sized discs.
That means this can not happen with out a hardware revision. It can natively play gamecube titles with a bit of homebrew magic but the disc drive rules out anything like what microsoft is doing.
and not that it's really a big deal (heck i got a Wii that can play Gamecube Games anyways) the best answer would be remake games or put on VC, but then i thought (how would they able do it with out a function memory card slot in the Wii U,) i mean if there a possible i guess they could work out on putting saves in your data via Wii U

Homebrewers have already got Gamecube compatibility up and running, with memory card emulation, modern controller support, and everything. But we're not really allowed to talk about that here. Point is though that yes, Nintendo could activate backwards compatibility on the Wii U to run Gamecube games natively through Wii mode.
The real problem though is that the Wii U disc drive cannot read Gamecube discs, and I don't think a firmware update would fix that. It's just not physically possible without hardware revisions, as blaisedinsd said. They could just put the ISOs on the eShop like they did for the Wii games available there, but come on, let's be honest, they could put a lot of things on the eShop that they aren't.
XB1's version of "backward compatibility" is to download an electronic copy of a game that corresponds to the disk you insert into XB1. Essentially, they've implemented virtual console and linked those titles to your physical media.
Since (as others have pointed out) the Wii U cannot read GC disks, and since most Wii U owners won't have games lying around from a console 2 generations ago, we would be much better off if Nintendo simply implemented GC games for the Virtual Console.

Why would you want BC from two gens ago? At this point if you were a new owner the games are hard to find at decent prices (If you are looking for the gems of the system) and if you are a GCN fan you either still have a cube or a wii hooked up. At this point I would say hope for VC to eventually show up.

This. I mean, the Wii U already has the Wii menu (sort of) embedded in it, so methinks the Wii U could actually play GC games. Problem is, the Wii U can't physically accept GC games. So nope, a software update wouldn't alleviate the problem.
GC Virtual Console, on the other hand...

Gamecube game disks are basically Wii game disks just smaller, it's the same setup. They're not "standard DVDs" but they're physically the same kind of "not standard". The only difference between them is the size and I've never heard of an optical drive refusing Gamecube sized disks. They would have had to physically engineer it so it refused them. I doubt it.
Basically there's no reason why they couldn't do it. I just think it's unlikely that they would. And if they did do it I'd wager they'd do it via a full VC where you re-buy the games. Not a system for people who already own the disks. Because it'd have to be new code in order to support the new input methods and lack of memory cards.

^They would have to be a disc drive that accepts GameCube discs. The Wii U's doesn't have that disc drive, so it cannot accept GameCube discs.
Reading disks and playing the game are entirely different things. If it can read Wii game disks (and it can) then it should be able to read GC disks given that they're basically identical other than the size.
