Ok so this is not one of those I hate the Wii U and the Wii U is junk threads so let me just say that before I get to my question. Truth is I did enjoy the Wii U and look forward to alot of it's upcoming releases Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros for example but at this point I have hit a financial speed bump so to speak and sadly I am going to have to sell my Wii U.
First off I did make some download purchases on my Wii U and I once I get a bit more financial stable I will look into getting another one. So when that day comes I want to be able to redownload those games on my new Wii U. So my question is how do I go about unlinking the NNID to the consoles so who ever buys the Wii U doesn't get my NNID or my games?
Second what would be a good price? It is the Deluxe edition version (black) and I paid $399 for it. Now I know asking for that price for a used system would be nuts but I am looking to get the most out of it so I am thinking of putting it up on Craigslist and what to know a good but fair price.
I think that is it for now if I have anymore questions I will post them here. Thanks in advance for your replies and answers.

Sorry to hear that things are so bad you need to sell your U. I hope everything turns out for the best in the near future for you and things turn around fast!

Thanks, hopefully it will and as I said in my post I will be able to pick up another Wii U later on down the road. Sadly its the only thing right now that I know that I can sell to get me close to the amount of money I need. I am upset about having to sell it especially with Mario Kart 8 coming out at the end of this month but I don't have any other choice. Hopefully they will have a Mario Kart 8 or Smash Bros bundle around Christmas time and I can pick up another one then.

You should ask nintendo if your games would be available if you ever replace it in the future and link it to the same id. Just rememher to format and unlink the system before selling it.
About price, I'm not sure. Maybe 200-50 dollars for an used WiiU would be acceptable?
If I had financial hardships, I would sell my fridge before my Wii U. I hope you can get that sorted out and you get your Wii U in the future.
I would recommend you contact Nintendo regarding your first question, to make sure it is done right.
I assume you are just selling the system as it comes in the box, no games or accessories?
Well if I could get away with it I would sell the fridge but it's not mine lol. I will include what came with the deluxe system including Nintendoland. I don't have any games right now for the Wii U except what I downloaded and Nintendoland but I don't want to include the downloaded ones cause I want to be able to redownload them later on my new Wii U that I will pick up later down the road.

Also I should add besides hopefully being able to redownload my games on another system the reason I want to delink the NNID is cause I still have my 3DS and plan on keeping that and that is linked to the NNID as well.
@Spoony_Tech: Possibly, though from what I have heard is that Pawn Shops dont give much for video game systems, but it is an idea if I can't sell it to someone at the last bit of time I have to get the money.
You can get a brand new Wii U Deluxe set + whatever game comes with it for about $250. You have to drop the price way below the $200 if you want to sell it. Especially with the Mario Kart 8 bundle coming out soon. If people are looking for a Wii U, they're better off buying the Mario Kart bundle, as it not only comes with Mario Kart 8, but another free game as well. I don't think it's worth your money selling a Wii U right now.
I kinda remember reading that delinked NNIDs could not be used on the same wiiu after the delinking process... So i'm not sure if pawning would be a good solution.

Yeah but I was thinking he could pawn it under the assumption he would be getting the system back not actually selling it. Not sure if thy give you like 6 weeks or something like 6 months.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.

Yeah I am not sure as well, but as I said it is an idea worth looking into.

Go to the NNID settings, and unlink it from your Wii U. If you get another Wii U down the road, you ca relink it and call Nintendo to confirn that is the new console you want to use the NNID for. This is what I've read they are doing now, but maybe by the time you get another one, you might not even have to confirm the console switch.
In short, UNLINK your NNID, then sell whatever you have to.
