Topic: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate For Wii U Confirmed?!

All this confirms is some loose cannon got a hold of a printer and thought it would be fun to do. If this was hanging next to a 3ds banner with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on it then we might be in business.

well they would be stupid not to release it on wiiU (again like they did with tri ultimate). but they need to work a lot on those textures. they look really bad on the 3DS in my taste. not as good as tri ultimate on 3DS.

Capcom and credibility should NEVER be allowed in the same senetence post 2012 unless there is some sort of negative modifier in the same sentence . I'll take what I can get, and with how bad MH 4 Ultimate looks on 3DS, I'd love to see a superior Wii U version. It has actually started to frustrate me that people DON'T want it on Wii U. It's not like it won't be coming to 3DS.

Why would anyone NOT want Capcom to support the Wii U with one of the few series that is still decent? For credibility? Keep those comments to IGN or Gamefaqs...where comments and opinions matter as much as points from "Whose Line is it Anyway?"

Though TBH, I'm very skeptical this is actually going to happen. But still, really? People don't want it on Wii U? That just baffles me. That's like me saying I don't want Xenoblade Chronicles on 3DS. The more the merrier I say.

If they did a transfer data again I would be all over both versions. I have well over 100 hours on both for MH3U

Fi style, I see a 0% chance of getting MH4 on 3DS. If they put it on Wii U, then there would be a 1% chance of me getting it, provided it is not another lazy upres. But it is Capcom we are talking about so....

Lazy? 3 Ultimate on the Wii U is pretty much the best looking console Monster Hunter, yes some things are off...but it's MILES better than the PS3 game. lol

@R_Champ I don't really care about the constant fan mockery from Capcom in recent years, they can still turn it around and re-establish themselves, unlikely as it seems right now. As I said, credibility is an extremely important factor for a company, especially in gaming business, because they need customers who trust them in making games they'll like - someone has to go ahead and buy a copy, after all.
Not having a WiiU release in this case is just nitpicking. The WiiU release of MH3U is the reason online functions were never brought to the 3DS version. Now that there is one in MH4U, there's no practical reason to make a WiiU version - the sales figures most likely won't suffice.
And, just to pint it out, Monster Hunter is still most successful in japan, and the same goes for handhelds, which have enormous appeal to japanese gamers since they can play on the go - most of them don't have enough free time to play at home. First and foremost, Monster Hunter releases are for the japanese market. Making a WiiU version only for non-japanese regions isn't worth the hassle, though, and I fully understand that.

Besides, your Xenoblade 3D example is insufficient, since it was never said to NOT come to any other platform than Wii.

It is the best looking console MH, but that is not saying much. Had Capcom put in the effort, it could be so much better looking.
