Topic: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate For Wii U Confirmed?!

I'd love to get a Wii U version, though unless this is actually confirmed, I'll be buying the 3DS version.

I hope this is true!! Just started playing MH3 on the WiiU and have been pleasantly surprised by its quality. The WiiU needs more RPGs I think if there had been more from the start the WiiU might have sold better...

Actually, I hope not.
It's not that I wouldn't want MH4U on WiiU, but previous statements made it very clear that Capcom (or at least the Monster Hunter dev team) wanted to focus on one platform with it. Seeing them go back on their own statements makes them lose credibility, and I think that credibility is more important than a dual-platform release.
If anything, they should add optional performance enhancements for N3DS to the game to increase interest in it.

No, I already feel like they are cramming that New 3ds down my throat and don't want to see even more exclusives. Plus why not the U. It's not like the game need much to translate over to the U and I'm sure the 3ds version is basically done. I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo themselves would green light this to happen. Now if the U version took away from Monster Hunter 5 then you may have a point.

I'll wait and see since this looks almost too good to be shopped. Almost...the banner could very well be real, but they could've added in the light and Wii U logo to instigate a false rumor.

@Spoony_Tech No, I didn't mean it should be N3DS-exclusive, but offer a performance boost when played on one while still being fully playable on regular 3DS.

If this is true it might be my first Monster Hunter, from what I have heard and played MH doesn't seem like a good choice for portable systems. We will see what happens

If you look to the far right of the pic there is a Wii U station! It's a monitor with the words Wii U underneath! This basically confirms it!
