What, the series seems to be kind of ignored by Nintendo recently, and to have only Shake It (and nearly 6 years ago to boot) in recent times is ridiculous.
I would love to see Resident Evil return to a Nintendo home console. Something that actually feels like a RE game. Sadly though, I don't see that happening, at least not the way they did with the Game Cube.
It hasn't really gone away, but as far as the WiiU is concerned, I'd love to see a new main Final Fantasy on a Nintendo home console again. The last one was VI, and that was WAY too long ago.

Most of my Nintendo favourites from years gone by have received new versions recently so there's not much left. During the early Wii era I would have said Dr Mario and Donkey Kong Country but we're getting and have gotten new versions of those. We have even gotten a new version of Kid Icarus.
The only other game I can think of is Unirally.... but that won't happen anytime soon....

Oh don't tempt me with Banjo-Kazooie I miss that franchise sooooooo much. Since technically Rare can make games for 3DS I would hope they put it on there, it would sell a lot better than on a Xbox One. As for DK 3D, I'd love to see it too, I never actually finished the 64 one, but it was fun and I'd buy a 3D one in a heartbeat.

Okay, if we're talking franchise as in more than one game released prior, and Nintendo first party, as opposed to third party games, and I can only pick one...
Baten Kaitos seems to spring to mind first. I would like to see those characters and worlds expanded upon. Online multiplayer and card trading would be really cool, too. The DLC ( yuck ) possibilities would be pretty high, with card sets and whatnot.
