Topic: If you could only pick one franchise...

If you could pick one previous franchise to make a return on Wii U what would it be. Seeing as Mario and Zelda are already back on Wii U I feel like I can't really put them down. And as much as I would love a new Metroid or F-Zero game there is one that I want even more...

Star Fox! If there is anything that I need its a new Star Fox game, we didn't get one on Wii and that was kind of disappointing to me (but we got Punch-Out and that was awesome!!) I seriously miss flying in arwings and all the fast paced action from the series. I know 64 3D came out and I happily bought it, but I can't help but wish for a brand new entry to the series.

So what franchise would you like to see make its return to the Wii U?

I'd love to see Capcom do a new Mega Man for the Wii U!

well id really like to see another developer take a shot at kid Icarus.

Banjo Kazooie or a new 3D DK game.

Star Fox, I think technology has finally caught up to that game series' ultimate vision

R.I.P Project Sora.
I'd love a new Metroid Prime. Or StarFox. Or a KI:U sequel.....

Wave Race

I may have spent more time playing Wave Race 64 than any other game when I was younger. We would sit around for hours just trying to pull off new tricks.

I'd like to see a lot of series return and I think Nintendo needs as many first party games and variety as possible to get the Wii U to sell. Give Platinum Star Fox, Retro F-Zero, and Next Level whatever they want to work on, I think they've earned that trust.

Metroid, simply because it's the only Nintendo Franchise I really like anymore, Other M aside.

Dragon Quest (Don't do a DQX again). A real DQ that you don't have to pay monthly for. Sort of like DQIX.

Castlevania. And not this silly Lords of Shadow nonsense. I want the original storyline. In fact, they have yet to do a game based on Julius Belmont, the Belmont who finally defeats Dracula. So that would be pretty awesome.

I'd say Dragon Quest if this was for 3DS, but since it isn't, I'll say Metroid.

Metroid, of course, but a continuation to Fusion, not another Prime title (as great as they were)...

Rune (Lost Kingdoms). An obscure choice maybe, but I LOVED the first and second game on GameCube.

Okay, if we're talking franchise as in more than one game released prior, and Nintendo first party, as opposed to third party games, and I can only pick one...

Baten Kaitos seems to spring to mind first. I would like to see those characters and worlds expanded upon. Online multiplayer and card trading would be really cool, too. The DLC ( yuck ) possibilities would be pretty high, with card sets and whatnot.

Metroid for me, but building off the directions put in place by either Other M, Super or Prime Hunters

Metroid, I'd love to see a Wii U Metroid. With actual power (be it last gen though), I think it would have some real potential.
