So from what I've looked up if you have New Super Mario Bros. U this unlocked New Super Luigi U as a downloadable add on, is this true?

Also can you buy New Super Luigi U physically?

Thanks in advance guys.

You can buy Super Luigi U as DLC for New Super Mario Bros. U or you can buy the standalone retail game.

I think there's a new 2 disc retail package now but I'm not sure about its availability in other regions.

Btw, I highly suggest playing it. It's a great experience.

As Freeon-Leon said, it's available as DLC if you own NSMBU or available as retail.

Cheers guys, I don't have New Super Mario Bros. yet so if I can find the retail combo pack that would be sweet!

At one point recently, they had the retail NSMB/NSLB available on the Nintendo site as a "refurb" game for $30. I went back to purchase it and it was not available any longer tho they had NSLB for $20.

Is it worth downloading? If its just going to be super hard stages then I wouldn't play it much.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

@Bass_X0: The stages are shorter, more difficult and the time limit is less than in NSMBU. The stages are completely different though.

The stages seem to be made for speed running. So, you can end up learning the layout of a hard stage and beat it after a few tries like it's a runner game.

Very few levels require you to stop and wait, it's all about quick movements and thinking.

I enjoyed New Super Luigi U a lot more than New Super Mario Bros. U, so I would definitely recommend it if you enjoy the NSMB games. Even though the levels were generally more difficult, the difficulty was more tolerable than Mario U's more difficult levels as Luigi's levels are shorter, so I didn't mind dying as much as I was still trekking through the game at a reasonable pace. I thought that there was a leak of a future SKU with both games on the same disc, so if you don't mind waiting, I would recommend that you hold out just a little longer until the 2-in-1 retail version is released (unless you can find both discs cheaply).

I play Luigi U alot with my 5 year old nephew, he plays as nabit so that he doesn't die quite so much.
The levels maybe harder, but they're able to be beaten after a few tries. Going for all of the star coins can be a bit of chore though.
