turned out better than i expected. Still not my cup of tea

If I was a kid this would probably be my most anticipated game of the year.

This week's trailer is the Toy Box Combat trailer! Time to show the fighting power of these characters!

I am having a real tough time with this one. Me and my wife are 24 but we are pretty big Disney fans and this game looks plain out fun.....but they prices....WOW.... $75 upfront is a bit, but I might get over that, it's all the other stuff after that. $13.99 for ONE figure?! ...I just don't know what to do.

And the other big question...for the free figure............Mike, Mater, or Barbossa?!!! haha.

Honestly, I've been leaning towards Mater, but I've also heard something about if you have people from the same franchises, it does somethign special right? Hmm..

Well even thought his topic seems to be dead at the moment, would you all suggest getting someone from the same franchises strongly over getting someone from another franchise? (such as, should I get Mike since I'll already have Sully, or will it matter all that much?)

I hear ya @DestinyMan. A lot of great Nintendo games coming out before long, but September seems a little dry (Trying hard to ignore Rayman Legends for the time being...).

I'll probably get either Mike or Barbossa to go with Sully or Jack so me and my wife can play co op with at least one of the stories.

I may just go with this game. I feel like if I'm going to do it, I need to do it while I can preorder and get the extra character with it ya know?

Not to be annoying and be one of the only ones posting here, but I still have a lot of questions about the game. Does anyone know where I can find out what all you actually start with in the game, like what items you have without spending 300 dollars to start?

If I can play in a Mario inspired level with a light sabor, say with a character as nice as Scrooge McDuck (I'm dreaming I know), I don't think I could ask for me.

By the way, if I didn't already mention it, I preordered it...was tired of thinking about it honestly.

A play set based on characters from Pixar's Toy Story series is headed to Disney Infinity alongside more characters, the game's creators announced during Disney's D23 Expo today.

Jessie the cowgirl will join space ranger Buzz Lightyear and Sheriff Woody in the Toy Story play set, which will be available in October.

Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey Mouse from Fantasia will also be available in Disney Infinity. Those in attendance for the reveal received a Mickey game piece, which won't be available at retail until 2014.

Jack Skellington (The Nightmare Before Christmas), Rapunzel (Tangeled), Wreck-It-Ralph and Vanellope (Wreck-It-Ralph), Phineas and Agent P. (Phineas and Ferb) and Anna and Elsa (Frozen) — some of whom have been featured in trailers for the game — are also coming to Disney Infinity, beginning this October and continuing through 2014.

And so here is the current roster of playable characters:

I can't believe I'm actually buying this game...7 characters sounded like a lot to start with for the crazy price but I wanted the Toy Story set.. 35 bucks is ridiculous, but I have myself to blame for buying it.

Definitely gonna get this game and Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey as soon as possible.

The prices are definitely outrageous but I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED them! The Disney fan in me is calling out desperately for them! So I'm gonna forever keep my eyes peeled for sales and deals on toys.

I would be interested, but the prices are just too off-putting.

I really want this game but 80$ is a bit excessive

If they bring Lion King or Duck Tales characters into this, I will be guying that set asap.

Also, "crystal figures" were leaked a while back, although with no images. These crystal versions are supposedly rare and more expensive versions of the normal figures. It's not really known as to what else these crystal toys will serve, aside from showing off I suppose.
