Dragon's Lair 3D is one of my personal favorites; & I bet not anyone would reccommend it other than me! That is if you're a Dragon's Lair fan!

@Salem: i recommended it a few posts back, actually. i said it's not spoken well of, but i found it strangely enjoyable even if it is frustrating at times.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem is apparently also a really good GC game that I've never played, but have heard fantastic things about. I just didn't see it posted any where, so I thought I'd mention it.

On second thought, let's not go to Camelot. 'Tis a very silly place.

Even though I'm not a fan of M games, I'll have to disagree. If you can find it for about $5, it's good. On multiplayer, at least. With cheats. That alone makes it worth it.

@Charliblaze The shooting parts were ok. It was the (many) pterodactyl flying segments that really turned me off of the game.

Now playing:
(Wii - DJ Hero 2) (WiiWare / VC - -- / --)
(Game Cube - Second Sight) (DS / GBA - Eragon / --)
(Xbox360 - Burnout Paradise) (XBLA / XBIG - Puzzle Quest / --)
Wii FC - 2346 1195 9083 7926
XBOX360 Gamertag - BrazCanMan

Definitely Chibi-Robo! Great platformer with one unique story full of some of the oddest characters around.

I picked up Wave Race: Blue Storm but I lend my nephew my GC controller so I haven't tried it. I hear it's very good though.

@PolarBear: ugh. i couldn't stand that game. i got it because i, too, had heard great things, but i played for about an hour, and put it down in disgust. not because it was gruesome, because it certainly was, but the controls were sluggish, the graphics were unimpressive at best, the combat was archaic, and really there seemed nothing particularly special about it. maybe i didn't give it enough of a chance, but i can at least say if you're not really willing to invest some time into it to get past the horrible beginning (if it does get better) then avoid it.

@Chariblaze: ugh, that's another one i thought was awful. i read good things about it, so i grabbed it cheap, but honestly, it was confusing directionally, the graphics were pretty paltry, the controls were so-so, the aiming was terribly difficult to actually hit anything with, and honestly, it was the first and only FPS to ever make me nauseous. ewww.. i'd say unless you've got to have every FPS for your collection, try to stay away from that one, too.

@WaveBoy - yes, Kirby Air Ride is worth getting. Although, it's one of those countless love it or hate it titles.

I never imagined that my thread would get anywhere near this many replies. Thanks a lot guys!

I'll most likely pick up a few titles I hadn't to because of your help.

I've looked at Kirby's Air Ride for a while now, but Gamestop still sells it for $20, which is just too much IMO.

I would have said you should get Paper Mario, but you don't like turn-based RPGs
I should say that I also don't like turn-based RPGs, or RPGs of any kind generally, but I gave Paper Mario a chance and now I rate it as one of the best games on the Gamecube.

Because of all of the positive comments you guys said about Paper Mario, I'm going to give it a chance. I'll most likely pick it up tomorrow.
