Well, first off "dude", I don't follow metacritic because metacritic isn't always the authority on what is good. Video games, like music or movies, are up to personal tastes and opinions. If you need someone to tell you whats good, I feel sorry for you. But it's good that you think you're not wasting your parents money. Second, I live in Brazil. I could spend R$299.00 on a game I'll enjoy for a while or I could spend R$7.00 on a game that I might also enjoy for a while if I have different taste than the reviewer, I know it sounds crazy but it happens. Plus I like the genre, "dude".

Sounds like a good game, I was considering getting this... but being unable to get to collectables due to glitches is a huge turn-off for me. Heres hoping for an update (like was done with Gradius REbirth), if that happens I'll get it.

Alright, I see. I guess I got the wrong idea from :"Even reloading is handled in an odd manner. It’s awkward at first, requiring a shake of the Remote instead of shooting off-screen like an arcade-style on-rails game, but you get used to it." Thanks for clearing it up.
@grenworthshero
I'm playing the good rail shooters, and I just put house of the dead 2&3, RE: UC, HOTD: OK and dead space (I played ghost squad a while back and I remember shaking) to the test and, with the exception of dead space, they all have the shake-to-reload. Also I never lost my bearings shaking (or more accurately "flicking") the controller, you can't shoot while you're reloading anyways and you always have enough time to point back at the screen in time to shoot.

Something tells me that the reviewer doesn't play many on-rails shooters on the Wii, pretty much EVERY on-rails shooter requires you to shake the remote to reload, I think house of the dead 2 & 3 is an exception... can't remember. I'm going to pick this one up anyways, I like the genre.

BrazCanaMan commented on Exclusive Mecho Wars WiiWare Screenshots:

Nothing about this game appeals to me, especially the "swirly" art style. Also, if a Luc Bernard game is announced for WiiWare I already expect it to never get released. Doesn't seem like I'd be missing much anyways.

BrazCanaMan commented on Sony Senior Director Gives 3DS the Thumbs Up:

Sony finds this MUTUALLY beneficial. Translation; Sony finds this an opportunity to copy more ideas from Nintendo.
This is why I don't support Sony, they copy whatever is successful and call it their own. The Sony Move is a blatant rip-off of the Wii remote, the only difference is that it looks like a alien anal-probe. Also PSN+ is Sony's COPY of Xbox Live, only more expensive. I remember when Sony fanboys would rip on Xbox owners for having pay internet, now they think it's great that Sony had this "idea". I always supported Nintendo and Sega (when they had hardware) and now Microsoft, I used to support Sony but now they make me sick.

Another 1/10... this is why most of my money is going to XBLA these days. This week WiiWare gets this gem, Reel Fishing 2 (which does not interest me in the least) and Lead the Meerkats (another game on my "most likely not buying list"). Whereas XBLA got Earthworm Jim HD and Neo Geo Battle Colliseum, both games are awesome and priced the same as this piece of work. C'mon Nintendo, back in the day your Seal of Quality actually meant something. Now I'm starting to lose faith...

Anyone try Robocalypse yet? I want to buy it and I'm thinking about biting the bullet and getting it, but the last game I bought before a review or playing it on someone elses Wii was Hockey Allstar Shootout (I'm still kicking my own ass for that choice).

BrazCanaMan commented on Review: Blood Beach (WiiWare):

I can't believe anyone (my friend) would waste 10 bucks on this when you can probably find beachhead, which is much better, for free on the internet. These iPhone to Wii cash-ins are so shamelessly overpriced. One of the few (very few) iPhone to console games I really enjoyed was Twin Blades on Xbox Indie Games and that game was at least updated for the xbox and priced at 240 MSP (3 bucks).

Finally! Another 10/10 game, and well deserved I might add. It's got simple controls and it's fun and addicting to play. So far this is my favorite Bit.Trip game. Great review Sean!

Well, I'm commenting on this from my blackberry and I didn't want to read all the posts because it would take forever, but I'm happy that FFCC: MLAADL came out. I get back from my travels next week (I'm hoping cave story comes out next week) and I am going to spend sooooo much cash to catch up for this month in wiiware. As for vc, I don't really care about it since I already have all the old school games I want to play... except Keith Courage in Alpha Zone - TG16, I hope it gets released sometime in the near future.

I like it when games get released in Europe first, 'cuz it usually means the review is out before it comes out here and I won't end up accidentally DLing garbage due to impatience (it's happened before, damn you Hockey Allstar Shootout!). This game looks sweet though, I hope it does well!

Ya.. I was actually just thinking that, and because of the low price and cutesy graphics it will sell. I just hope it doesn't make the top 10. 'Cuz if it does, you know we'll see another "masterpiece".

Wow! another 1/10...
JV Games really sucks if they managed to screw up such a simple game premise. Seriously, they should find another line of work 'cuz this ain't working for them.

Actually seems like a bit of quick fun. Kinda reminds me of the spot the Miis on the Wii Play disc, personally I enjoy that kind of thing. If I got 500 points left over I might actually get this.

@Supersonic1990
Shovelware? What the hell you smoking?

Just watched the video for incoming, looks ummmm, what're the words I'm looking for?... Oh ya! Not Good. They should have just made a Scorched Earth Clone, I don't like the proximity of the opposing tanks. =(

EDIT:
Also, good to see less people complaining about SSB64 not on vc this week... except for the freak on comment #70

Dammit! i just have to be travelling now... I shudder to think about how many points I'll end up spending when I get back to my Wii in august, so far 1200pts for BBP and BT:C. I'm going to wait on the review of that chariot racing game, I'm not going to label it as shovelware yet. Another thing: Please Nintendo, RELEASE SSB64 JUST SO THESE WHINY B%TCHES CAN SHUT THE F UP ABOUT A GAME THAT IS SO OUTDATED IT'S NOT EVEN FUN ANYMORE. Seriously, every monday:

"WAHHH WAHHHH no SSB64, WAHH WAHHH! Even though this update has good games, I'm going to annoy everybody and focus on how SSB64 isn't out yet! WAHHHHHHHHHHH!"

But of course, that's just my opinion.
