Basically, what old games (other than the VC) are you looking into getting?
I'll be getting Star Fox Adventures on Friday, after finals and move-out. That game was one of my first GC games, and I sold it when I got Assault. However, I miss it now. Every time I hear the main overworld theme ("I-O I-O...I-A-O"), I get nostalgic.
Anyway...... I'm actually thinking about getting a PS2........ then getting Tekken 4, Jak 2 and 3, Street Fighter Collector's Anniversary, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal.
I won't get it all at the same time, if I do get it.
I have a PS2, but it became my sister's, since I couldn't care less about Japanese RPGs anymore. She also plays Metal Gear Solid among other uninteresting games. I miss the Playstation, without the gimmicky CD/DVD player and backward compatibility. The controller even originally lacked analog sticks and vibration. It was a true video game system, not a multimedia center.

Oh, I'm totally into older games, in fact I rarely purchase new games. The main reason? Because older games are cheap. Cheap = Moar games.
I bought a PS1 and Xbox this year and purchased lots of cheap GCN, N64, GBA and some older NDS games. I'm also going to buy a DreamCast and SNES this year and a Saturn and PS2 next year.

I've been thinking about tracking down Metal Gear Solid for Game Boy Color... but it usually runs a little more than I want to pay. I've also got a line on a $5 copy of Dragon Warrior III for Game Boy Color.
Theirs a lot of games for the DS that I havent played that I can find pretty cheap at my local Gamestop. So do games like Super Mario 64 for the DS count as retro gaming? That title has to be like 6 years old now.
How old is old? There's still some GCN games I want to play and a whole bunch of Wii games I missed out on like Dragonball: Revenge of King Piccolo.

I recently purchased a SEGA Saturn, so I'm going to try to get some more games for it. Pricing considered, I'm considering NiGHTS and Earthworm Jim 2 as of now.
But the online shopping.... Ugh, I'm not used to it.
I just bought a crapload of PS2 and GBA games. Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2 (I've been looking everywhere for this game! So glad I got it!), Wild Arms 5, Dragon Quest VIII, and Front Mission 4 just arrived, and I'm still waiting for Grandia 2, Klonoa 2, Xenosaga, and Xenosaga 2 to arrive.
I'm also going to Gamestop tomorrow, and I'm thinking of getting Boktai 2 and Final Fantasy 6 Advance if they have them.
I just bought Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga for GameStop recently, used of course. Collectively they're the best $36 I've spent in a while.
Got both of those not too long ago, they're both incredibly fun(and cheap!).
Yea. I liked those mario sports games that where developed by Camelot. It had RPG elements and connectivity with the Gamecube.
I meant the F-Zero games, not the boring Mario sports games. Some of the best racing around, and I got 'em both for the price of F-Zero X on VC. If you haven't got 'em, get 'em.
