Wish we had a Capcom v.s. SNK on Wii @Mickeymac.

Until recently, I would have said Soul Calibur II without hesitation, but now it's a three-way tie between Soul Calibur II, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, and Dead or Alive: Dimensions.

I don't play many fighters, just the Soul Calibur series.

I'd like to see more Capcom vs. SNK period, but apparently they're done with the series.

I'll take that as a compliment. That also isn't every fighter I've played, btw, just the ones I felt were most worth mentioning.

Indeed, the intention was that of a compliment. I find the amount of games you have played to be pretty astonishing.

i'm not a great fighting game player- more of a button masher but i do enjoy playing fighting games.

I don't play this genre but if Super Smash Bros. series are included (they are so different to other fighters) then it's SSBB.
I've played Samurai Showdown, Tekken, Street Fighter, Dead or Alive and Mortal Kombat but not that much.

i forgot about samurai shodown- i think i played that years ago in the arcade. it's not too bad.

reborn flame rumble X! I thought I was the only one who played that game! I've also played some of the Bleach ones, too. Normally I hate anime fighters, but those were pretty good.

I enjoy the Smash Bros series, the Marvel vs Capcom series, and Soul Calibur series the best. Really though, I enjoy pretty much every fighting game even though the only ones I was ever good at were the Smash Bros games.

Waveboy, did you ever play Killer Instinct in the SNES days? I can still remember going with my friend to Toys 'R' US to buy that game and It came with this rad Killer Cuts CD. I wish more games came with soundtracks like Killer Cuts without having to pay more for a stick it to the fan Collecter's/Limited Edition copy but I digress. Killer Instinct is my 2nd favorite fighter besides Street Fighter II Turbo and still play it from time to time with my friend despite his love for multiplayer PS3 FPS boring expired weak sauce. Nothing like the sweet taste of some SNES classics to bring some life back into someone who is stuck in the mundane video game world of online FPS shenanigans.

Mortal Kombat for PS3 is tempting but I will wait till I find that for like $20 or so as I won't be playing it all that much. Freddy Krueger would be blast to play with. Jason and Michael Meyers would be awesome to add to the mix though Mike prefers the slow stalker approach which wouldn't work so well in MK.
