I was unfortunate enough to play the Virtual Boy

I played on an NGage once, if that counts. It utterly sucked.

Anywho, the worst console I've ever "played on" is the Nintendo 64. Yes, I am a very lucky gamer indeed.

For me, it was the CDTV ...GGGrrr! It makes me mad just thinking about it!!

Exactly. I don't see whats so amazing about the 360 controller.
I love playing FPS games on the PS3 controller. Yes you heared me.

My only complaint of the PS3 controller is that your hands get all slippery and sweaty on it....ugh...feels disgusting lol

All Sony consoles.. who woulda guessed.

Anyway to the guy saying PS3 but not PS2. I hope you know there are PS3s that play PS2 games and they all have the same controller.

Plus hating on a console because of it's controller is quite dumb.
Oh let me the guess the Xbox 360 controller is the best? no.
I hate the controller but i like the 360 to a certain extent(i mostly like the games....lol....the console is filled with ad's and other media trash)

The Wii. Biggest disappointment of my life, longest wait between decent titles, continued hassle of always switching out nun-chucks, M+ and classic controllers, insulting graphics for it's generation, and miserable online. It's the only current gen system I own and some of my favorite games ever are exclusive for it (Mario Galaxy, Brawl, Kororinpa 2, Endless Ocean, NSMBW), but I always feel like every end of the block could be much improved and I can honestly say it's killed some of the magic of gaming for me, but that's probably my fault for not investing in Sony or Microsoft. PS3 and 360 don't do a whole lot for me which is why I don't own them, but I doubt if were I a fanboy waiting anxiously for months and finally getting my nerdy paws on one of them when they first came out that I would have felt as abused and honestly kind of embarrassed.

Out of curiosity spaceboy, if the Wii is your worst console, why are you on NL? Doesn't really make sense....
I do agree that Motion plus gets annoying. Nunchucks and classic controllers only take 5 seconds to put in. The online isn't THAT bad, it's still fun to play, plus you don't have to pay for it. Hopefully the next console will have HD, but graphics aren't as important to me as gameplay is.

I never played a console I didn't like. However, I've found the Xboxes to be disappointing. Everything cool on the Xbox & 360 I've eventually gotten for Nintendo systems. All I've ever really gotten for my 360 is racing games. I did download Banjo-Kazooie, however. I had a few other games on the original, but they got boring after awhile.

I guess by default it would have to be the 10 or 15 minutes i spent playing an in-store demo of the Virtual Boy at Blockbuster when it first came out.

And though not really a console, i'd also mention those old (mid-90s) Virtual Reality demo "booths" -- some of you may remember them, they were like in a big ring area and you wore an insanely heavy helmet. It was actually very cool for the time (i remember trouncing the guy i was playing against -- it was like a FPS-kind of game), but that helmet was so F'n heavy!

Sega Master System,
But as of this Gen, well the Wii is collecting dust, as the 360 is getting most of the attention now with the games that are out for it.

I remember playing on the Commodore 64 Games System (cartridge based one) at my mate's house and laughing in his face cos I had a Sega Master System and it pwned all over his sorry excuse for a games console. Great days...

Uh, just guessing here, but chances are it's because Nintendo had consoles before the Wii.

I was talking about the console's library. I don't consider the PS2 games part of the PS3's library, and the PS2 has the better library in my opinion. The controller is decent, but I didn't say anything about it in the first place.

Let's see in terms of major consoles. None of the Nintendo systems or Sony's systems I owned. The Sega Genesis is also good.

The worst console I've played was the original Xbox. It got boring after a while and wasn't really worth the money. Not it isn't bad, but it was so-so.
