Sony is basically, according to that, in a huge decline. Panasonic making a comeback seems more likely than sony. Will Sony even be able to compete after the next generation of consoles?
I like Sony electronics in general, and have some great memories with the PSOne

I like Sony and Nintendo. But Microsoft sucks. Apple not that great, but at least is easily usable.

I had plenty of good times with my PS1, not so many with my PS2 and never even bought a PS3 and don't own any other Sony branded devices.
Can't say I really care if things are going downhill for them.

I hope there ok for the sake of a good rival against Nintendo, but I kinda wanna see PS1/PSP titles on 3DS eShop and PS2/3/V titles on WiiU eShop

Yeah, PS3 and Vita have not done them well despite PS3's recovery these past few years. I dunno if they could afford another PS3esque launch with their next system, which is why they'll probably wait a couple of years. There's no reason to rush the next one out until they can get Vita on its feet

-Apple is future technology. They make iMac basically for design with Photo-shop and web (ect) and iPod for many other reasons.
-Microsoft is also about computers but they are no where as good as Apple (only when it comes to PC games and the 360)
-Sony is about TV and other devices. That is what they should stick to and not games!
-Nintendo is all about gaming and consoles, that is their soul purpose. They are the only Big company that is entirely focused on games and not Computers or TV's.

I own very few Sony devices (for gaming, I only have a PS2), but it doesn't take a genius to see their quality. Sony makes great products and I love them for it. While I still believe they'll do well, I am worried.
Here's hoping there will be a Vita fad soon.

I couldn't really care less about Sony's decline, but it definitely will affect the economy in one way or another...

I hope Namco Bandai buys Sony and then Square Enix can buy Namco Bandai. That way we can have the ultimate gaming company, Square Namco Sony Bandai Enix! They will than compete with Google Nintendo Sega to see who will save the world from EA Apple Disney.

Anyway, lets worry about Sony when there's actually something to worry about.

If Sony became 3rd party I'd DL a lot of VC games on my 3DS/WiiU like FFVIII-XIII2, KH, KH2, KHBBS, Klonoa 2, MH, MH Dos, MHFU, MHP3rd, MGS 2SoL, MGS4GotP, MGSPW, MGSPO, New Little Kings Story, Street Fighter III, Tekken, Tekken 2, Tekken 3, Soul Calibur 4, RE5, RE6, Bayonetta, and maybe some Sony iPs

I would honestly embrace the console war becoming a battle between Nintendo and Microsoft. Two different worlds, two different ways of doing business, two different styles of games that thrive, two different COUNTRIES! That prospect is VERY exciting for me and might actually do more to make the home console market thrive in general.

I think sony will stay afloat and they are my favorite game system makers and they have fantastic exclusives. I don't care for microsoft so if sony had to leave the game market i would be pretty sad about it and just game on nintendo.

I'm pretty sure most of Sony's properties and studios would be bought off. Uncharted and Ratchet & Clank in particular are very strong franchises. I doubt 3rd parties or even possibly Nintendo and Microsoft would just let that kind of chance go away.
