All I can say is,thank you EA and DICE for giving me free maps when I am in need of some money in this recession.

As for Activision.
You think its cool to sell two maps we already played in years ago? along with some other maps which will be over run with campers?
Really?

I may pick the maps up,however I feel obliged not to and for once I am proud of myself for not being a slave to these morons and kotick can suck it.

MW2, the worst game on PC that everyone bought even after knowing it was going to be terrible.

$15, a quarter the cost of the full game, is seriously overpriced. When you can get the whole campaign, 23 spec ops missions, and 16 multiplayer maps for $60, charging $15 for just three new maps (and two old ones) is ridiculous.

It's funny that Sean007 praises EA for its DLC, when EA's the one that charges money for extra costumes in Dante's Inferno.

Every publisher does DLC these days. If you like the game, you can buy even more (and yes, that even more is usually expensive). If you don't, the beauty of DLC is you don't have to buy it, and you can still enjoy the original game.

Ever hear of a comparison?
EA are now better than Activision and treat their customer's more better.
Sorry but I don't feel like buying a pack which has maps that I bought years ago.

Also people are agreeing with me.
I'm saying thanks to EA and DICE for not charging money on the maps for BC2?
Are you so worked up about it that you have an issue with me praising them for that?

Who the hell is talking about Dantes inferno? no one.

You're praising a publisher for not charging you money for DLC, when in fact that publisher DOES charge for DLC. So really, EA is no better or worse that Activision - it's just that you got lucky because EA didn't decide to charge for one particular game.

EA are now better than Activision and treat their customer's more better.

No, they don't. That was my point. Also, "treating customers more better" is relative. I think it's good that a publisher can afford to stay in business and keep publishing games. If DLC is how they do that, then I prefer it to the same company going bankrupt and not bringing out any games at all. That's not treating your customers very well at all.

Ever heard of stepping back and seeing the broader picture?

So your saying we should say "F**k you EA for not charging the BC2 DLC!"?
Thats the logic your getting at.
Again as a comparison, yes EA are treating their customers better.
They're giving away free DLC...how is that not treating your customers good?

Also its my business if I want to praise a company that is giving out DLC to me for free while another one is giving out paid DLC with two levels from a 2007 game that is still being sold for 50 euro in shops.

Ever hear of an opinion and respecting one's opinion?

UGh! Don't even get me started on EA's and Activision's horrible DLC policies!>_< This is just another example of publishers trying to milk people for all they're worth. I like new maps, but c'mon! This should only be $5, or $10 at a stretch. Man, I was hoping DLC would be like expansion packs brought to the console market, but any expansion pack would've included far more content for that price.

I'm sure we all respect your opinion. However, we all do have the right to let you know that the logic behind your opinion sucks and you may want to rethink things.

And this is where you and WALT fail to understand.
All I am saying is I am happy EA is giving us the maps for free. Is that too hard to understand?

No you may want to read over my first post and tell me where the issue is?
Again there is no logic, there is only preference in my first post.
If I prefer EA to Activision, why do you have such an issue with that?

Activision are giving out map packs that are over-price while EA is giving out FREE map packs.
Generous no? Of course not,I guess people would want full games for free instead. Jesus get a grip people.

Since Dante's Inferno was brought up as a negative for EA, I will counter that with the free expansion and armor DLC that EA included with new copies of Dragon Age: Origins of which the armor is also used in Mass Effect 2. When has Activision ever given out anything for free, other than insanely awesome patches back in the 80's?

Thank you.
I mean seriously, free DLC with big publishers is rare and it seems EA gives them out the most.
I'm only saying thanks to EA for the free BC2 DLC.

Of course it's not generosity, it's all a marketing scheme. The freakin' maps are already on the discs, it's just that if you give it to a friend, he'll have to pay $15 to use them.

Oh its a conspiracy to trick the customers...OH NO!!!
If you pay for a used game, the developers are not getting any money from it.
Therefore they put in V.I.P codes to download maps or unlock maps with new copies only. You don't need a brain to figure that out.

You'd do the same thing if you were the developer.
Sony did a similar thing with the PSP Socom games.

Well if it`s Microsoft we are dealing with, it`s not a conspiracy. It`s the TRUTH.
