Welp Capcom you tried. I’m still going to get Legacy Collection 2 though.

Every Switch game launches with some sort of "But..." from Capcom and they cant even get THAT right.

As long as people get refunds or new codes, it's not the worst thing ever. Still sucks for those people though.

@YummyHappyPills Capcom messing up games on a Nintendo system seems to be a running occurrence starting with the Wii port of Okami. It's as if they put their intern staff on the Nintendo ports or something.

@FragRed True, but the Switch has had every game have some stipulation be it digital only in one region, download codes (With some missing it seems), late ports with no excuse, or the famous "If Street Fighter sells well we will continue".

But going back the IGN Okami box, Resident Evil Revelaitons typo, its just...due care isn't exactly their strong suit is it?

@DarthNocturnal You know what's weird? The breakdown of the X Collection per system per region.

Japan:

Disc Based Systems - Two Discs
Switch - Two Carts

United States:

Disc Based Systems - Two Discs
Switch - One Cart, One Code

Europe:

Disc Based Systems - Nothing
Switch - Nothing

It's like the further away from Japan you are...the less you get at retail...

Resident Evil Revelations was only sold at retail as a combo pack. Thus necessitating a download code.

But its on the eShop as two separate games. So why not release them separately at retail?

@DarthNocturnal Mega Man 11 will be under 1GB but somehow still require a download code as the cartridge will just be a splash screen. Failing that, it will be streamed but only in Japan. Oh and the box cover will spell Mega Man wrong, somehow. Because Capcom

@DarthNocturnal I'm expecting Capcom to use a thumbnail IGN cover picture which they then increase in size to fit the Switch box, leading to an incredibly low quality, pixalated mess where they plaster on a crude logo made in MS Paint.

Just got my switch on the 22nd. Love the system so far.
I have had some annoying little things happen though.... Like link not grabbing on to a thin climbing area, instead choosing to "power slide" off the edge of the tower to the left.
And running in to three hackers and constant AFKs in Splatoon 2. The hacks were just basic, like a level 1 (with out a star) using weapons they unlock at level 20 or something.

Also had to "fix" the... what ever that thing that makes the joycons a "single" controller. Took off the grips because it just felt weird holding a square with controller handles.

So are we just not talking about how FIFA 18 now costs more on the UK eShop? It's £54.99 instead of £44.99....

@YummyHappyPills I'm pretty sure it always was £54.99. That was it's official price at retail too. It's had a hefty 67% discount too which runs until the end of the World Cup.

@OorWullie Hm. I recall seeing £45. Wonder where then. Maybe I'm thinking of NBA. I distinctly remember a game being £5 cheaper on Switch and could swear it was FIFA.

@YummyHappyPills Something about a game being a fiver cheaper seems familiar to me too. I was thinking maybe FIFA was £59.99 on the other consoles but I just checked and it launched for £54.99 there too. I know the Switch version was that much as I was in the UK at the time and had to buy it from Game since Amazon had sold out. Game had a saving of 4 quid or something like that.

Here's a Japanese stream of the game, it works surprisingly well.

I think if any game is suited to streaming, it would be a game like RE that doesn't necessarily rely on constant reflex based inputs.

I'm still not in favor of it but, I will admit that stream looks pretty good. Definitely seems playable if you just want to enjoy the game for $20
